Fantastic hideaway

Our stay in the Spetses Retreat was excellent. We had a lovely room overlooking the pool,it was just what we needed. Greg our host was really nice ,very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area, He really went out of his way to make us feel at home We had breakfast at the pool every morning with lots of coffee We would highly recommend this lovely little hideaway to our friends

Koselig hotell på Spetses

Relativt lite hotell i rolige omgivelser, men allikevel sentralt. Veldig hyggelig og fleksibelt vertskap. Enkel, men god frokost serveres ved bassengkanten, inntil en vegg av vakre blomster. Her er ingen luksus, men rommet/leiligheten rengjøres hver morgen og er alltid rent og pent. Et veldig hyggelig bekjentskap, som jeg håper å komme tilbake til neste år. Anbefales på det varmeste.

What a delightful place to stay

Very well located apartments, friendly staff, gorgeous little Greek style apartment. Fairly close to main town 8/10 minute walk. Lovely breakfast by the pool. Well maintained clean pool and surrounding areas. The three ladies looking after all the holiday makers needs where just lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment no8 overlooking the pool. Spetses was like a little helping of idyllic heaven, although on the expense side for food, drink and shopping, but in my opinion a small price to pay.

Excellent staff and service, need a new cleaner

Georgia at reception is lovely, helpful and thoughtful. Arrived before check in, and she let us change in the office, held our luggage and even called us later in the day to ensure we were OK. Nothing was too much trouble, helpful with restaurant suggestions, breakfast etc. and very polite. The rooms are spacious and bright, with lovely views. My only complaint is regarding the cleanness of the rooms. Our sink ledge in the bathroom had trimmed hair on it obviously from the previous guests. Also the ledge where they new toilet rolls (on white tiles) was literally black with dirt. I ran my finger through it to see if it was stained and the next day, there was a new toilet roll (so NO excuse that it hadn't been seen) and the dirt and finger prints even in the dirt still. I appreciate this is basic accommodation, but cleanliness is something i expect no matter that hotel rating, so this was a disappointment for me.
