Room was older, had a very distinct smell ( not a good one). Saw no bugs, bed was reasonably comfortable, staff upfront were good. It’s a budget hotel so my expectations were low. Get rid of the “old, sweaty” smell in the room and will rate higher.

It’s a great motel for overnight or week long stays. The staff is courteous and does a great job of helping and cleaning. It was quite at night. My only problem is that while walking my dog in the grass areas the ground is very uneven and it would be very easy to turn an ankle.

Easy and clean stay

Easy to book and checkin, room was clean and affordable. The hair dryer didn’t work but otherwise it was a great stay. The breakfast bar was well stocked and clean. Would recommend

We came to town for the race at Rockingham - looking for a place to sleep and get ready for the day - no frills needed for 2 adults. This hotel met our needs. The staff was friendly & helpful. Easy drive to the speedway. Lots of places nearby to eat too. We didn't use the amenities (breakfast/pool) so no comment on those. If we come to another race at the speedway, we would stay here again.

Its an older building. Clean enough. Walls could use paint a bathroom needing the walls spruced up. Water pressure for the shower was wondwrful! Clean, fresh sheets. Perfect for the one night stay.

There was hair on the freezer of the mini fridge, the was a dead cricket in the middle of the floor, there was hair in the bath tub. Other than this the room was great. Bed is soft, pillows are comfy.

Tired, Old Hotel. Good location. Not worth cost.

Rooms look nothing like the pics. This is a tired, old hotel that has been painted way too many times (and awful colors btw). We had 1) broken toilet (had to take cover off tank to flush), 2) hole in outer bathroom door (looks like an elbow), 3) cockroach or two, 4) our room door was left open / ajar for the day after housekeeping came through, 5) sticky door. Good things: Big mini fridge, friendly housekeeper, ideal location to go to Pinehurst 2 and local bars.

Fetid pool and an unhelpful staff. Backed up by hotels.com’s absolute refusal to make anything right. Would not stay again. Would not book with hotels.com, Expedia or any other OneKey firm as they will take no responsibility for the accuracy or inaccuracy of their listings.

Clean room....

The room was good and clean. The bed was soft, too soft for me. The furniture is what surprised me. The desk was so wobbly i thought my laptop was going to topple it. The mirror was tiltednin a way that was obvious, and i looked for a camera behind the mirror (nothing seemed there). Trim was also peeling off the tv stand/refrigerator holder. The fridge almost fell every time I opened the door it was so out of balance. The microwave worked well, and it got the job done. Every staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was fine, just wanted more protein available.
