「The hotel is under major renovation and is leaking water in the lobby when we checked-in」

「If you're gonna go here for the pool or the hot tub, don't. Hot tub is a lukewarm bathtub at best, and the pool facilities are pretty aged. Either than that, the room was nice and clean.It was fairly quiet and the price point was good. Did not try the breakfast. 」

「What a hidden gem! Great price! It's an older hotel but the staff are very pleasant; there's a swimming pool; the rooms and the hotel are clean; bed is very comfortable; great hot breakfast. Why pay more to stay at the Deerfoot Inn! This hotel is literally within walking distance to the Deerfoot Inn and Casino but not in minus temperatures! 」

「The room was a nice size and clean. Every staff member was wonderful. The only thing we would like to pass your way is that, even though each bed had 4 pillows, they all seemed to be hard on our necks when we laid down for the night. Maybe having different types of pillows...soft, medium, hard...would provide those wishing to stay at your Sandman Hotel and Suites in Calgary South with additional choices when it comes to comfort when trying to sleep.」

「Overall the services and the room are very good, clean and comfortable. If more options for the breakfast will be great. 」

「The staff at the front desk have no patience with guests, the shuttle driver was very rude with guests' suitcases and damaged my suitcase trolley without even an apology. The bedding was not changed every guest and the towels were disgusting! The smell of male bodily fluids clung to the towels and you could smell it when you entered the bathroom, and there was actually a blood stain on one of the towels that hadn't washed off. It was disgusting! Don't waste your money challenging your bottom...
