「As our family live in different parts of the country we try to meet up once a year. We chose a ‘gem of a place’ with The Helyar Arms! Fabulous atmosphere/ ambience. The staff were so kind and friendly and our accommodation was clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Such a pretty place with an abundance of brightly coloured hanging baskets and a beautiful ‘secret’ garden to the rear of the hotel with ample seating. An excellent place to stay👍」

「This was the first time i have stayed at an apartment as normal use hotels, but this maybe the way forward for me as a frequent traveler. It was like home from home with some very nice touches which whilst simple but milk in the fridge was great especially for the cup of tea in the morning. Will 100% rebook when I'm back in the Yeovil area 」

「Really nice place to stay, spotless, bathroom with a bath, very well kept. Parking opposite the hotel in a public car park which is free from 6pm until 9 am. I really liked it there, I would recommend it and I will be back again. Lastly, price was unbeatable.」

「Love, love, love this inn. Amazing property in a beautiful village. Lots of great, easy walking spots. There is a bus from Dorchester station that takes you to a stop right next to the inn. YES!! Also, the food and drinks at the inn are a homerun plus. Love, love, love this place.」

「Immaculate room, warm clean and well furnished with attention to detail. Was only a one night stay but would stay again good breakfast also offer motorhome pitches and camping sites」
