The property was very nice. When I booked, I was of the understanding I would have a balcony overlooking the pool and beach. It overlooked a parking lot.

WindWater Hotel and Marina
The pictures for this place are very deceiving. We stayed one night and found a different place the next day. This property is disgusting and they also charge a “resort” fee which is a total joke. This looks like the type of place that rents rooms by the hour.

Ramada by Wyndham & Suites South Padre Island
We weren’t there enough to really judge, the staff was friendly and the room was clean and quiet. They are not right on the beach but they do have a short walkway to the beach.
