"This hotel gets a lot of bad reviews but for a budget hotel it was great for a 2 night stay with my daughter for a cheerleading competition.
The room and hotel decor is dated but this did not affect our stay.
The beds were comfortable and clean, towels were provided and tea and coffee making facilities were available in the room.
The WiFi worked well and the room also had a small TV which we used a little.
The bathroom was clean but there were a few cracked tiles and the tap was quite difficult to turn off.
The hotel door locked with an actual key and staying in an annexe building it also had a lock to the main building door which made us feel safe. It was really quiet and the grounds were very well kept.
We were able to park our car for the whole weekend for free at the hotel which was a huge bonus and it was a short walk through some pretty gardens into town and around 20 mins walk to the beach.
As we had a lot of dance gear with us we did get an uber a couple of times which was £7.
There is a COOP and premier shop a 5 min walk away if you need anything.
The hotel has a bar and lovely outdoor patio area.
We did not have chance to use the pool but it looked great and lots of people were using it.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived.
For the price you can’t expect the Ritz, we had a pleasant stay and would return."
