The hotel is very old and outdated. Does not look anything like the picture advertised. Bathroom door handle fell off in my hand. Bathtub was dirty looked like it had a black ring around it. Bathroom door had water damage. People up grilling and partying all night. Parking lot was littered. Had not been so tired would have requested a refund and went somewhere else but it was only 1 night

This location had no rooms Available and they still took my Money and wouldn’t refund it! The worst experience I’ve ever had when it comes to booking with a hotel. Do not waste your money at this location or hotel. The worst customer service!!!!!!!!!

Extremely dirty. Bed was stained, dead insects on the pillow, bathroom door had no door handle, shower shampoo and soap dispensers were empty. We left after our first night and went somewhere new, still trying to get a refund for my second nights. I guess you get what you pay for.

The people were nice but the room was dirty and the furniture was all squished together. Bed was good but the pillows were just old. The ice bucket had mold in it which was just as good since the ice machine didn’t work. Tv didn’t work. Clock didn’t work.

This place is scary bad
This place was a place for people to stay if they had no other choice. I walked in. Saw the crappy old room and listened to others staying yelling and drinking. Not a safe place for me and my wife and three young kids. I immediately left and went down the street to a better hotel. I do not recommend this place for business nor pleasure. Only if you had no other choice.

When I booked this hotel stay online for 23 - 29 November 2021, the website showed newly remodeled rooms. Well, they lied! The room I checked into was so filthy, I had my own cleaning products and disinfectant sprays and wipes, and it took me an hour to clean that filthy room and it took the cleaning crew 4 days, to change my sheets. My room had pubic hair all over the toilet seats all over the floor, mold, dust and the microwave was so disgusting, they had to remove the microwave to give me a new microwave. The refrigerator was so nasty that you couldn’t even put any fresh food in there and the ice was so thick, it needed to be defrosted! My opinion about the property, it looked like somebody was testing missiles, it was filthy and I wouldn’t have a dog live in that place and the name of the hotel is the Americas Best value Inn and suites, located in South Boston Virginia. I will never EVER, stay at a place like that again in life! What’s really appalling to me is, The management only pay the custodians $3.50 per room, not even minimum wage, per room not per hour. I will report this to the Corporate Office for sure!

Facility needs major maintenance.
Unfortunately the room was crumby at best. There was empty water bottles in sight under bed so it tells me no one looked into cleaning the place. There were multiple holes in the walls at receptacles, shower heads etc and the wall cavity was visible. In addition, there was a strong smell of marihuana. I couldnt stay and walked back to the attendant and gave back my room key and asked to cancel. He said they could only reimburse me for one night.

Awful, the bed cover was stained and dirty. The shower was broken and the sink water barely came out. The floor was nasty and smelled is urine. We had to spray febreze. It was awful. When we got there someone was complaining of the same things. I'm never going back

The lamp shades were disgusting, all stained up. The door lock was a chain outdated, the door frame was nasty with dirt and paint peeling. The places needs a very deep clean and updated badly. The front seat people were very nice and the lady cleaning rooms when we left was nice. Very disappointed with the room.

I didn’t like anything about this property. It looked nothing like what is stated online. This place was so rundown and not up to par. It smelled, the entrance to the property the pool had big blocks of concrete hold down a tarp, pieces of the ceiling was hanging down. It was so deplorable

Do not stay at this motel. It’s terrible, the service from the front desk with the guy who works at night time was rude and not helpful what so ever. He put me in the back of the property where the people around us were up till 2/3am and up at 7:30am with their kids screaming and knocking on our door. When I asked to be moved the guy told me no! I asked for extra sheets because the bed was disgusting and wanted to lay extra sheets on the bed till I was able to go buy my own sheets and blanket from the store and the guy told me no and proceeded to question me on why I needed sheets. I put a sign for no service for one day and no one came the entire week. Only one other time did a older lady come and asked me if I needed service and told her if she could just take the trash and give extra towels, she was very very nice! The bathroom was dirty, the floors in the room were dirty, let’s just say when I got there I had to clean just to sleep. I traveled from Massachusetts last minute for an emergency with my fiancé’s family and booked this place based on reviews I read and I will tell you DO NOT STAY HERE ! Terrible terrible terrible !

Our room was very dirty and there was a sagging spot in the floor just before the bathroom. There were cobwebs in the corners and it was generally worn down. There was little water pressure in the sink or shower. The air conditioner/fan for the room sucked in cigarette smell despite being in a non-smoking room.

Old Motel. Has been painted and has newer furnishings. Power was only available thru wall sockets that were hanging out of the wall by the wires. Shower peed on you, no pressure. Soaps were provided by a pump dispenser on the shower wall that you had to pump allot to get a very little soap. Toilet ran for 20-30 minutes after flushing. I first thought it just needed jiggling to seat the valve. Nope, that made it run longer.

The room was big and had a lot of extra space , the only things I didn’t like was (I booked my stay on hotels.com for a 1 king size bed room and when I showed up to the hotel the owner told me that my room wasn’t ready and it won’t gonna be ready until like 30 mins so he gave me another room with a double bed “I really didn’t need it cause it was just me and my boyfriend” but the room was very nice and he said it was much bigger then the room I was suppose to get , the second thing I didn’t like was the TV channels they only had 40 some channels and all of them was messed up the channels kept going in and out and they was all fogged up so you could barely see anything and another thing their WiFi suck it’s no goo connection at all so don’t be surprised when you get there it goes In and out and you really don’t have any good signal there either

I didn’t like the fact that I had to clean the room myself, before unpacking my suitcases. I didn’t like the fact that there were 3 mice sightings in the room and I didn’t like the fact that the owner of the property asked me was it a little rat or a big rat. It makes no difference the size, it shouldn’t be in the hotel Period! I also didn’t like the fact that when I pulled the covers back, there was bugs in the bed. Then I really didn’t like the fact I had to flip the mattress and found more trash and bugs in and around the head board! This room was filthy, rat infested and there was mold around the basin of the room. I feel I should have a total refund for the trauma I experienced! The room they attempted to move me to was far worse. This property looked as though they were testing missiles there! Trash and mess all over the property! I see why there was only 3 cars on the property, including my car. If you need video recordings of the room, I have that as well.

I'm sorry for all the bad experiences you had while staying with us. Upon offering you a new room you turned down the opportunity and made it clear that you did not want to move. I am not aware of you being shown another room when I offered to move you you were persistent that you would not change rooms. We have experienced professionals to come to the property twice monthly for pest prevention and control. If there is ever an issue dealing with it as soon as possible is priority. There for it is ideal to have that room quarantined at the first sighting and serviced as soon as possible which has now been done. We would like to invite you back to our hotel to better show you our hospitality and I want to personally give you a room at a discount and offer you a free meal at our new restaurant along with the free breakfast.
