Pillbox on Benfleet Creek. This pillbox on Benfleet Creek has seen better days it’s concrete skin has fallen away revealing that this block house is of brick construction which would not afford much protection against a tank round. In the background you can just see the A130 to Canvey Island

Hill Road runs from mid-centre bottom up towards the centre. Thundersley Park Road runs from left of centre-bottom up and curves round to join Hill Road. These two roads are unmade at the centre of the image (though they are mad at the bottom). Underhill Road runs parallel to the bottom at the right. Thundersley proper occupies much of the upper right.

This is my second time to stay, overall is much better than before. There is Carpark available but need fee. As my room air conditioning control panel is broken and got too warm to stay for 2 nights, the staff is good to change another room for me very efficiently. Shopping and restaurants is nearby, ...
