"We were in building L which had a wonderful ocean view, double queen and upgraded interior. Our room was on the main floor and the walking noise from those upstairs (they were just doing normal stuff) felt excessive. Our friends were in building Q and had a king room with a mostly tree view that needed updating. We didn't use the pool. The stairs to the beach was nice and the beach was fun. The restaurant is only open Thursday-Sunday."

"The La Quinta in Newport was great - excellent location, staff was very friendly, pool was fun for the kids and the hot tub was nice for adults. The breakfast in the morning was one of the better opnes I have had and offered numerous items."

"We have always loved how peaceful the property is. We had an end unit room looking out at the bay and felt like we were the only ones there. The rooms are starting to show their age and general wear and tear that can’t be ignored. Our biggest complaint is lack of WiFi signal. We were in building 4 and barely had a WiFi signal and regular cell service. It killed our electronics constantly trying to find something."
