Parking was very straightforward. Hotel is in a beautiful location above Sorrento. There is a steep 10 minute walk down into the town. Hotel offers a shuttle service. Although limited, the food was well presented and tasty. The staff were exceptionally friendly.

This hotel is a little distance from the center of Sorrento but the hotel runs a shuttle into town which was very useful. It sits high on the hill and has amazing views over the Bay of Naples and Capri. The staff were helpful and the food at the restaurant was pretty good. The room was clean and comfortable but a little dated.

Our second time at Johanna Park, such a lovely area, you are in a garden, surrounded by lemon , orange and olive trees . Great breakfast selection, dinner always very delicious. Shuttle to Sorrento centre and return. There were 5 of us, we al enjoyed this hotel.

All good things to say about Johanna Park Hotel! We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very reasonable and nice bathroom (they’re all small everywhere but this was clean and had tub/shower). The restaurant was good quality, lots of options at the breakfast buffet and solid options for dinner. The service was fantastic, all the staff with the restaurant and the shuttle services were incredibly hardworking and kind to go out of their way for you. The front desk staff was helpful, sometimes a little short with you, but saw that everywhere in Italy. The shuttle service was incredibly helpful to go to city center and bus/train station. It solved a lot of worries about walking down/uphill or getting an expensive taxi. Highly recommend Johanna Park Hotel, and would stay again if visiting Sorrento!

I only gave 3 stars to this hotel because some staff and some things were okay but I do even think it deserves 3 stars. I reserved a room with a view but something happened I guess when we checked in because they told us to come back down stairs and that they are changing our room: they called it garden view away from the hotel and we had to drag our luggage down not even sure what to call it. The room was semi clean because there were aunts on the floor. The ridge didn’t work and the view was horrible! It was unkept garden you don’t even want to see and small lizards were all we saw. The place seems like it’s a family run than corporate ran because the person that helped checked us in was also the person that took our order at the restaurant and also the one that drove the shuttle to the city. They seem to have many hats. The person that took us to the city (that drove the shuttle) told us to wait where he dropped us off and gave us the schedule for the shuttle so we went to the same spot and waited at 9 pm which the shuttle never came. When we called the hotel they told us he just left and should be there soon which never happened. When we called the hotel again no one answered. We waited until 10 to see if the 10 pm would come on time and since we waited until 9:30 we said 30 minutes wouldn’t change anything. We waited 10 after 10 and took a taxi to the hotel and when i mentioned it to the guy in the front desk he said the driver was there at 10 but at a different spot.

Séjour mitigé

Le cadre extérieur est exceptionnel par contre l'hôtel se situe très loin du centre de Sorrento. Il n'y a rien au alentour et vous ne pouvez pas rejoindre le centre à pied, c'est très loin et la route très dangereuse. L'hôtel met à disposition des navettes mais vous êtes tributaires des horaires. La chambre était vétuste, pas de confort. Le personnel est agréable.
