"We had two nights at a premium double bed room with the mountain view here on top of the tour into the gorgeous national park. The staff are friendly and the room is very clean, I like their breakfast buffet with the combination of American style and traditional Sichuanese food (fried dough stick with soy milk are my most favorite). I went to the gym every morning, the only minor question I had there was at the shower place, since I had no clue to turn the lights on while out of staffing hours.
The traffic is convenient, you may call taxi or DiDi to send you to the main township or into the most beautiful township valley called Zhongzha, it costs 25RMB on one way.
Overall it was a great experience in my lifetime. Especially I'm a native Sichuanese, moved to the US long time ago and came back to visit Jiuzhai again after 25 years."
"Friendly staff, and the good location. However, the street where the hotel is located is under the construction, therefore it was bit noisy and hard to access. Hopefully the construction finishes in time so the other guests will have better experience."
"The hotel is conveniently located. It is less 10 minutes walk to the entrance. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. But property is little dated."
"Great stay at a great hotel!
1. Location
In the immediate vicinity there are convenience stores (selling snacks, drinks, toiletries, and oxygen cannisters) and the hotel, being part of a resort, also has restaurants and cafes within the compound but **note that these may be closed during off-peak season (off-peak: Dec - Mar)**
The hotel is located very near to Jiuzhaigou Park (15 mins by car) but further away to Huanglong Park (approx 2hrs by car).
Importantly, the hotel is at an altitude of 2100 metres which gives visitors a good chance to slowly acclimatise before visiting the region’s attractions
2. Rooms and amenities
Really comfortable beds and pillows and the rooms are really well designed, with fantastic views of either the valley, or the small lake within the hotel. I stayed in a deluxe twin room which was spacious enough.
Hotel has its own restaurants which serve great food and are not expensive.
Other amenities that the hotel has: gym, childrens’ playroom, vending machines, and massage chairs.
3. Service
Really friendly staff and you are always greeted with a warm smile. Staff are also really helpful especially with questions pertaining to the region and the attractions.
Overall - well recommended!!"
"The villla was spacious and well maintained. I loved the Christmas tree that they set up in the middle of the living room. Made the place warm and special. The staff welcomed us with a sash and a dance and it was nice of them to do so. Our personal assigned Neba (butler) Jasmine Zhang, was super attentive. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and even prepare small gifts for my boy whose birthday was round the corner. The food was fantastic too! The hotel manager Gin personally came by to say hi and it was a nice touch. We loved the service attitude of all the staff and it certainly made the stay very memorable. Highly recommended if you are looking for a great place to relax and unwind. "
"I feel a bit upset and disappointed of choosing this hotel because the variety of restaurant is limited, only 1, also I paid extra for the mountain view but I only get small little part of mountain view, instead in front of me is all trees not the mountain view. "
"We stayed at this unique Tibetan-themed hotel as part of our unforgettable journey to Jiuzhaigou National Park, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel’s design draws deep inspiration from the Tibetan ethnic group (Zang people), beautifully blending traditional Tibetan architecture with modern luxury. Handwoven carpets, colorful Thangka paintings, intricate wood carvings, and Buddhist motifs adorned the lobby and guest rooms, immersing us in an authentic cultural atmosphere. Our room was spacious (the largest of the eight suites), immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated with Tibetan accents. The balcony offered breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, especially stunning at sunrise. Luxurious bedding and in-room amenities added to the comfort, making the experience feel truly premium. The dinner we had was a standout, featuring a local Tibetan-style hot pot that was both hearty and flavorful. Using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and aromatic herbs, the meal was not only delicious but also a cultural exploration in itself. The dining area’s cozy, traditional ambiance enhanced the experience further. Last but not least, I wanted to give a shout-out to the hotel staff for the welcoming and attentive service we received throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Jiuzhaigou. Whether you're here for nature, culture, or relaxation, this place has it all. Don’t miss it!"
