Summer 2018 Soldeu

A hotel we kow well as a winter restaurant this was the first time we had ever stayed here or been to Soldeu in the summer. Obviously there is a lot of building going on in Soldeu currently (ahead of next March's World Cup skiing event) so we were given a room overlooking the main road - away from the noise and dust which was thoughtful. The a la carte food selection was as usual wide-ranging and good value - OK there are other cheaper options locally but usual quality of the offerings is consistent. Room clean and en suite shower room fine - good shower! In the summer heat without air-con we needed the windows open - it is the main road from France but not too much disruption from passing traffic during the night. Very convenient for the bars and restaurants that were open too!.

Es bonito en la foto, en la realidad una habitación superpequeña, para acceder a la cama tienes que gatear, ya que está a un palmo de la paret. Para abrir el armario se tiene que apartar la cama....pequeñísima la habitación. Aparte de los precios, no creo que un hotel de 2 estrellas se pueda permitir unos precios tan elevados.

Very clean room- small but comfortable. Breakfast was basic but apart from lack of fruit on first day satisfactory. Service was efficient but not particularly friendly. Much of the resort was closed but we did find a friendly bar - Bar Code.

ESCAPADA MUY AGRADABLE.

El personal es muy agradable. El HOTEL es pequeñito pero acogedor. No puedo valorar el servicio de Restaurante porque no lo utilizamos, pero el precio del Menú es razonable. En definitiva fue una escapada muy agradable.

Staff are friendly and helpful but the stay was let down by having to pay for parking every evening. Hotel cómodo pero ruidoso

El hotel está bien, es moderno y la habitación era suficientemente grande con camas comodas. El único problema es el ruido que había. Se oía un goteo bastante fuerte cada vez que alguien se duchaba que resultaba bastante molesto. Aparte el sábado empezaron a las 7,:15 de la mañana a poner lavadoras las cuales retumbaban por toda la habitación haciendo imposible descansar.

Rapport qualité prix imbattable ! Il est peut probable de trouver à ce prix là un hôtel avec autant de confort que celui là. Grande chambre, grande salle de bains, volet électrique, pas rapace sur le chauffage, vue montagne, charmant bâtiment tout autour qui vous fait oublier que vous êtes entouré d'autres multitudes d'hôtels, j'y suis allée hors saison, c'était calme. Je reviendrai en pleine saison de ski et sans hésiter dans cet hôtel ! Seul petit inconvénient (mais vu le prix on oubli vite), légèrement bruyant quand les voisins rentrent car se sont des portes palières en groupe de trois chambres. Bon séjour. Je recommande au petit budget qui aime le confort

Good Choice

This is the 3rd time that we have stayed at the Hotel Bruxelles. We have always found the hotel very clean, and the rooms in good condition. The staff are very helpful and speak English well. We have had our evening meals there and we found the food very good. Breakfasts were good for the price. I do think they could drop the charge for the Wi-Fi as most places now give this free. Overall for the price its a great choice to stay and visit the area.
