The location is stunning and facilities like restaurants (we loved the pub), Photo Booth, noaraebang etc are great. Unfortunately the pools, walkways, exterior doors etc were closed “because of high wind” - there was no high wind over the 3 days we were there. The laundry didn’t take foreign credit cards. The rooms were far too hot with air con not working. Had to sleep with veranda door open - not ideal when the air quality was so bad.

The hotel was pretty nice. The view from he hotel room was fantastic. The biggest downside was the pool. The hotel guests have to pay for the pool (25,000 Korean won/ person) and they charge for the chairs and umbrellas there. I paid 50,000 Korean won for two lounge chairs by the pool. The worst part of the pool was the access. I went there with 74 year old mother who is disabled. We had to walk pretty far and there were stair cases but no elevator to the infinity pool. The staff at the pool didn't seem to know the answers to our pretty simple questions. It was overall a pleasant stay but the pool was a big bummer.

Not the best service
Check-in takes forever. Stayed for 3 nights but had to book 1 night then 2 nights because no same type of room was offered for 3 consecutive nights, so it said "no room available" I hoped to stay in the same room, but the check-in staff told me to call hotels.com because he couldn't make that happen. No flexibility. Not sure if it was worth it.

The hotel is wonderful for its location on a cliff and sea breathtaking views from the room. It has nice common areas, a lovely trail that borders around the cliff and access to coffee shops, fast food, restaurants and a convenience store in the basement level. The water park is great. My only critique is that the hotel pool is not for hotel guests but has to be done through the access to the water park, which is not only very expensive but uncomfortable to access. Hotel pools are traditionally of easy access for hotel guests so this was quite odd.

Good experience
The good... hotel staff was great. The rooms all have ocean views. They have restaurants downstairs that are affordable to include a coffee shop. Parking was free and easy. Easy drive to Soeraksan national park. The bad... the buffett was very expensive and was not very good, food was sub par.

I liked everything about this hotel, great scenery, nice pool, great food and comfy bed, very clean with great staff. Very close to national park as well, which you can see from the hotel. Spectacular

A beautiful, spacious and modern room in a spectacular setting. The breakfast buffet was a disappointment, however. Some items were overcooked and dry (mackerel), bread items stale (croissants). Plain yogurt does not have sugar added and should not be labelled as such.
