Very large comfortable room, very clean. Beautiful window and balcony with greenery. It was quite and pleasant. The staff was professional and very helpful. There is a paid parking (15 euro/24 hours) in front of the hotel, but we parked on the street - it is free during holidays. Safe, green area, at a walking distance to shopping, attractions, restaurants.
The hotel had a great location and the room was comfortable. However, the breakfast service could be improved for business travelers, especially on weekends. Stat time at 8:30 am on Saturday meant missed breakfast for who is working or has to leave early. It would be smart if the hotel could consider offering an earlier breakfast option, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays, to cater to guests with busy schedules.

Hotel overpriced
The hotelrooms are not well maintained. The entrance to the bathroom is not looking good. Breakfast was two mornings served 15 minutes too late.
Güleryüzle, güvenilir, kibar ve hiç rahatsızlık vermeyen görgülü bire ekip vardı. Otel ev gibiydi.

Disliked: Staff & service
A disappointment
A nice old fashioned hotel, a little run down but fairly comfortable. Room service was terrible, the bed was never made up and shampoo and soap was never replenished. Same problem with coffee and tea in the room. Breakfast was very poor, not much available.
The receptionist was not expecting my stay, she was clueless about the reservations and needed to “text” with the manager and with his/her blessing I was given a key .
The room was nice and clean however it could use some paint touch up around the bathroom door. No parking accommodations regardless what the add says and you better skip breakfast too.
First of all during the booking the hotel told us that there is free parking included in the price. This was the main reason why we chose this hotel. When we arrived there they told us that the parking isn't free and if we want to park our car we have to put it in a private parking. They obligated us to pay 1 euro per hour to park our car in a private parking. Also the breakfast was very poor
without staff present. If something was empty, you had to go and ask for it yourself. In the room the drain and the washbasin were clogged and dirty. The second day they didn't change the shampoo and the soap so we had to go and buy. The mattress was sinking in the middle after so much use which made it uncomfortable to sleep in.

Satisfactory and good location
The room was very nice and spacious, but a bit out of style. Bathroom is also big and OK. Lady at the reception was really nice and check in and check out was very quick and pleasant. Location is great as it is next to metro station, shopping mall and big park area - all just 50m away.

Disliked: Amenities
There are three things at this hotel that can be easily fixed. Wi-fi is not functional outside of lobby second year in a row. Keys needed to be reset every 24 hours. Upon check in credit card machine was not functional. Instead of receiving a respond of “we will let you know when the machine is functional”, the response was “you’re welcome to go to an ATM”. That response was not guest friendly.
Location is great, the rooms are dated but a good size with a balcony.
Room smells like an ashtray, the furniture should be vintage but it is more like okdschool a bit broken. Breakfast is very cheap. Lady at the reception is extremely arogant, she can even say hello goodbye or thank you, she is just asking you 3 times if you had anything from minibar and whether you are really sure.

Les personnes sont très désagréables et le sourire ils ne savent pas ce que c’est.
Il passe leur journée à faire la guele et râle beaucoup.
Très mauvaise expérience
Room was clean, large and comfortable with air conditioning. Hotel is traditional, if a little old fashioned.
We did have a brief power-cut in the middle of the night two night, and the room was short of convenient power outlets. Breakfast was a little disappointing. There was no room safe.
I visited Sofia for a business event taking place at Hilton, but it was full. Then I found Meg Lozenets Hotel and I am glad I did!! Great staff, location and big rooms with a great price! Would definitely stay here if I come to Sofia again!

Not a suited hotel for non-smokers. The common areas smelled a lot of smoke, even the hotel room smelled a lot. When we closed a window during the night, we woke up because of the smoke scent. We chose to open the window instead.
There are ashtrays on every floor so it is not possible to escape the smell.

Elegant hotel near Metro
Facility is very nice, breakfast good. Room & lobby very well decorated but small things needed attention. Remote for TV didn't work (staff very pleasant & showed how to use TV controls) shower head wasn't attached, only one coffee & one pillow on bed (pillow in closet but no pillow case). The attached restaurant was Spanish, with no English menu. Bar had old menus & no Bulgarian beers. Hotel was close to Metro. On a main Street with restaurants within walking distance. Parking in closed lot was provided but it was behind hotel - suggest unloading luggage before parking. Hotel is at start of a long one way street so be sure to have map!
Jedoch gut eingerichtet. 0,4 Liter "Krombacher Pils kosten " 7 Lewa. Auf der Rechnung jedoch als 0,5 Liter berechnet.
