good for overnight business stay

Small room with basic facilities, however, clean and quiet and with en-suite - plenty of hot water - tea and coffee facilities in the room - mattress a little old. Overall was fine for an overnight stay. Parking was plentiful on site. Price very reasonable. On site parking and price were the reasons I chose this hotel.

The staff were nice and friendly, the room was lovely and clean, a few little things like only 1 towel, no bath mat, only 1 sachet of coffee and no remote control for the tv. They are refurbishing so I’m sure everything will be ready soon, convenient for town centre and airport

The experience overall was ok the rooms were compact with just the basics no luxuries such as shampoos just one small shower gel and one small soap The light above our bed was broken but still worked but it was reasonably clean Also when we went to restaurant there was no alcohol but didnt realise that it was run by foreigners

not a great stay, reception very dated and got bad vibes from the hotel as a whole Bedroom wasnt air conditioned as stated and no bottled water provided either although this states there will be and reception couldnt help. Would not ever stay here again

The picture shown is actually not the one youll stay in, its next door to the main house or theres a block of outbuildings, either way they arent in good shape and the place is very much in need of a refurb, that said it was cheap so you get what you pay for

Didn’t bother to check in, as when I pulled in to gated area the place just looked filthy- went to reception and even before I spoke to anyone, I left as the place was just unbelievable in a mess.

Lovely old stately home, set in the park (the old estates land). However there is old furniture and items dumped all around the external and disused parts of the property. e.g. a marquee falling apart full of furniture in what would be a nice garden. Stained carpets in corridors smelling of damp. Also note this is the first hotel I have ever been to that does not provide ANY form of breakfast facility.

Served It's Purpose with Comfort.

It was friendly enough and staff were polite. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was clean & comfortable & the bath was amazing. No hairdryer in room which was advertised. Blinds do not darken the room enough for a good sleep during the summer - would not be an issue in winter months. Common area carpets such as corridors really need to be replaced. Food smelled delicious but I had already eaten (which was a shame) - I would have loved to sample some. All in all, it served it's purpose & I would stay there again for a budget cost.

Staff didn't appear to have any knowledge about facilities within the hotel, e.g. whether breakfast was available. Also were unable to recommend or book a taxi. Room were midway through decoration - the TV was missing from the room, however the holes & wall bracket were still visible

This place was very unorganised!! Asked for staff to fix the TV and this took them at least 6 hours!! The place is disgusting and not well looked after. Not suitable for people with a disability.
