The room was really comfortable and clean. It was seviced every day too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was grand. All in all a very good stay.

Quaint & Charming

The hotel has a very 'cosy and country' ambience, with a wonderful log fire in the back bar and a stunning, central 'Victorian courtyard'. The Owners and staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. The bedroom was a little dated but very clean and comfortable, with the usual amenities.

Stayed here for one night prior to attending a wedding in the area. Staff excellent; small issue regarding room amenities was dealt with efficiently and quickly. Good breakfast and hotel is handy for town centre. Free parking. Recommended.

All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Particularly the owners who spent time with us over breakfast. The hotel has a lot history and we were shown around behind the general public areas. Whilst the bedrooms have not been brought into the present day, and are somewhat retro, they are comfortable, clean and warm. Would definitely stop here again. The restaurant/ bistro is a must. Cask beer was faultless.

Nice but shame about the outside light

Clean and friendly place. Lovely king bed. Unfortunately the external lights that light up the building were right outside the bedroom window, we was hoping they’d be turned off when the bar/restaurant closed but they weren’t… it was like having daylight shine through the curtains the whole night which effected our sleep massively. Room 25 for anyone interested.

Rather Tired But The Staff Make an Effort

The rooms are rather quirky and give the impression of being not that clean. Carpets are not a good idea! The staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms were very cold and there was no heating on overnight.

The room was adequate

The hotel staff were great. The room was small and needs updating. The bed mattress needs replacing as not vet comfy and the same about the pillows. Overall we found it adequate and not worth the expense.

Handy for wirk

Stayed 1 night due to work. Easy to find, good location to walk into small town of Sleaford. Easy to check in, staff all very pleasant. Exterior of hotel is pretty, lovely flowers & outdoor seating area particularly at this time of year. Didn’t eat at hotel but menu looked great. Nice double bar area with plenty of seating. Bedrooms are good size, but decor quite dated. Small tv, tea & coffee making facilities. Small desk for working & complimentary bottle of water. I had room at front of hotel & was a very warm night so had to leave window open. Road noise apparent. Slept ok with earplugs! Bed comfortable. Some room noise from others. Bathroom ok, all clean. Good size towels & complimentary toiletries. Good, safe carpark. Would stay again.
