"Nice comfortable room that was well equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Great bed and bedding. I had hoped the restaurant would be open, but unfortunately it was closed. The room was fairly quiet. Helpful staff."

"Good inexpensive option in Blind River. Desk clerk is very friendly. Rooms old-fashioned but big, beds very comfortable. Prices of snacks in the vending machine are fair and low, unlike many motels. But minus one point because the bathtub has no stopper."

"A clean room in an old motel. I ate at the restaurant when I was told (by the owner) that the fish was fresh from the lake. It wasn't. Frozen haddock. I would recommend eating at Tim Horton's across the street."
