"The location is paradise, the staff were amazing the food was wonderful… if thinking about booking my advice would be, not to hesitate, we do 2 safari’s book on the day of arrival with the hotel… there own vehicle & driver lunch & refreshments were provided, an all round amazing experience in this little slice of Paradise with zero light pollution (if you like star gazing)"

"Seemed the best hotel in the area. Room big with a terrace leading to the very attractive large pool with the lake and a tree house to climb. Monkeys about who were fun to watch. Breakfast more to Asian tastes than mine but French toast, potato’s, fruit and breads available.It was very quiet during our stay with more staff than guests! Good choice for Yala but recommend the wild edge restaurant opposite in the evening for a drink."

"Amazing, clean, fully appointed “cottages” - the grounds are on the lake which was explosive with wildlife and great views. Right on the fence line of Udawalawe National Park. The food was EXCEPTIONAL and the staff were some of the kindest people we have ever met. (Big hugs to “Chef”!!! They set up an amazing safari for us where we had THREE leopard sightings - beyond our wildest expectations!!"

"The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff and the food. Special call out for the manager Sanjeev, who really went out of his way to make sure we’d have a great time. Beautiful rooms (though a bit noisy), very nice bedding, to be honest just beautiful all around. The food at breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka, and their curry … outstanding. So so so good, I went for it again the next day. I’d recommend the hotel without hesitation "

"My stay at the Jetwing hotel in Pottuvil was nothing short of amazing. The individual cabana experience offered the perfect blend of privacy and comfort, surrounded by nature and just steps away from the most beautiful beach. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying my peaceful morning walk along the shoreline became the highlight of my trip. A special thank you to R. Darshika, Jehan, and Sadun, whose exceptional service made the experience even more memorable. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail truly stood out and added a personal touch to my stay. The atmosphere was tranquil, the service was outstanding, and the entire property felt like a hidden getaway designed for true relaxation.
