I couldn’t help but joke that the “palace” seems to have been conquered not by invading armies, but by Father Time. Time laid siege years ago & maintenance never quite reclaimed it. Many areas look weathered & neglected. Unfortunately, our stay reflected that first impression. Reception signage pointed us toward the pool, parking lacked direction, & a male employee greeted my confusion with annoyed...
