Great room and a charming village

I had a great time at the Hotel Mochlos. spacious room with big balcony and great shower. One min from the beach and all the restaurants. the Owner is very nice and made my stay wonderful.

This is the second time I have been a guest at Hotel Mochlos. It's an unassuming family owned and run place. The breakfast is ample and quite interesting, typically Cretan.

Mochlos er skøn - hotellet er under middel

De gode ting - godt badeværelse og en ok størrelse altan. Man kan høre havet og skimte det for enden af vejen. Desværre passede hotellet ikke til vores behov for et sted at sove. Sengen var stenhård, køleskabet larmede, aircon larmede, væggene var papirstynde og både naboer og værter var alt andet end stille. Barnegråd fra 4.30 om morgenen og vanding af blomster med højlydt snak efter midnat. Selv efter vi slukkede aircon og køleskab var det en regelmæssig summende lyd. WI-FI på værelset virkede ikke i 2 dage ud af 6. Der blev gjort rent hver anden dag. Mochlos er et fantastisk sted som vi helt sikkert kommer tilbage til, men næste gang finder vi et sted, vi kan sove.

Verdonkerende gordijnen en zachtere matras

Zeer proper, zeer gedienstig en gastvrij, weinig kamers maar gelegen aan de straatkant. Dicht bij het dorpscentrum met vele tavernes!

Comfortable and friendly hotel.

The rooms are comfortable. The showers are great. Some simple equipment for cooking, but the tavernas are so good you won't need anything other than to make a tea or coffee. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is generous. This is a good choice for Mochlos.

mochlos è molto graziosa, ma offre poche possibilità di fare mare; però è una buona base per visitare l'est di Creta, se uno è disponibile a fare percorsi lunghi in auto.

Gem of a Hotel in lovely Mochlos

Lovely little hotel. Fastidiously Clean. High standard of finish. Friendly Staff. Literally only a few steps from the selection of bars and restaurants that Mochlos has to offer. My only regret - not staying longer.

Hotel trés agréable proche de tout

Nous sommes partis fin avril. Les chambres prévues étaient en restauration pour l'été. On nous a donc logé dans des chambres plus spatieuses certainement que celles prévues. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce remplacement. Nous n'avons pas vu celles qui devaient nous etre attribuées normalement. Mochlos est une petite merveille et nous avons adoré ce trés court séjour

Il manquait quelques équipements .Comme un rideau douche. Ou le ménage pas effectué. Le petit déjeuner trés simple pour 7,50 € un peu exagéré. Paiement du séjour en espèces ( obligatoire et sans reçu ) Le cadre agréable.

Wonderful last night in Crete

Four of us stayed at the Hotel Mochlos our last night in Crete. We were fortunate to get the 2 adjoining rooms on the top floor. Both rooms were very clean, and one had a fridge, stove and coffee maker. The suite was high enough to give a great patio view of the Gulf of Mirabello and the small, Minoan ruin-filled, Island of Mochlos that sits about 200 yards offshore. Only one of the rooms had AC, but with the windows and sliding doors opened, and the constant Mediterranean breeze this unit was never turned on (and this was on Sept. 4th). It was like sleeping under the stars. Cost for both rooms and a nice breakfast was very in-expensive. If you are into Minoan sites this is a great location. Two minute walk to the small beach, and then an easy swim to the island (once there, I had it to myself). Gournia is just a 15 minute drive away. For an added treat, bring your snorkle gear to observe the undersea ruins during your swim.
