This property also has long term tenants. The tenants were friendly, but the place is over all pretty beat up. The key to the pool was "misplaced" the first night we stayed and not open. The next day, the pool was open. The carpet in our room was sticky everywhere and the room smelled of almost a mold type smell. The air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was ok. They appear short staffed as well. There's a phone at the front desk, the person that is supposed to be at the front desk is cleaning rooms...in the night hours. When checking out, nobody was at the desk, nor answered the call as I stood there attempting for a solid 5 minutes.

I picked this place because it advertised an amazing pool, hot tub and center park with grills and tables. The pool had been closed for months, no full breakfast meal during the week and the toilet in my room didn’t work. The place looks great and has an amazing idea just needs to take better care and not lie on-line. Cheers! B

Lobby was cute. Our room was in need of repair. Looks like they had had a leak and patched but not fix. Still seeing plaster. Floor had some issues. Breakfast was disappointing. Eggs should not have water in them. Neither should the sausage after it’s been cooked. Staff was friendly. It definitely looks like the young couple. There are working very hard to turn the place around.

First room had a non-findable cricket in it, and alas no towels. It was actually not a clean room. They moved us to another room. Fridge was dirty. Window was dirty. Floor was non-barefootable, filthy. Sparkly confetti all over the bathroom and long black hairs in tub. The faucet was held on by the base plate jutting into the sink. Without it, the faucet would fall through to the floor. Exterior wall on the inside of the room had crumbling foundation and carpet was pulled back and ripped and peeling up. Outlets were present without covers. Black and red stains on ceiling above the bed. The door also would not lock while we were not in the room, meaning anyone could enter when they wanted. Key card did nothing because the system was down. The outside of hotel is missing siding, weeds all over, peeling paint, and just run down. The South Dakota lodging license on display at front desk expired 12/2025. The front desk laughed and said they knew. Cold AC and comfortable beds though. Would NOT stay again.

We were stopped for one late overnight stay. The reception was extremely helpful and welcoming. We needed an early start for the long drive ahead so they arranged to have the breakfast open a bit early so we could. King bed and room was extremely comfortable.

Old motel but clean and friendly staff

Staff was grest but first 5hey checked us into an already occupied room. New room light bulbs we burned ol, but clean and friendly staffut and toilet was plugged 🔌 and wouldn't flush. She would give us a new room if we wamted to, but she got the toilet to flush very slowly and we didn't want to move every, too late at night
