Fantastic hotel with great history

his hotel is a true gem. It is located in the center of a small village, surrounded by restaurants and small shops. It has its own restaurant which serves food of the highest class. The room was very clean, nice historical furniture and a very comfortable bed. TV had Dutch and international channels. Not enough? The hotel has its own little museum where you can learn about the local history. A true gem!

Heel goed verblijf gehad!

We hadden een appartement binnen het hotel, en dat was super! Goeie bedden, alles mooi schoon en ruim genoeg. Misschien een ventilator voorzien op de slaapkamers want die waren wel warm, maar we zaten in een hittegolf dus dit is enkel een tip en geen kritiek. De ligging was voor ons minder... je moet al een eindje rijden om een strandje te vinden of een eetgelegenheid... maar het is wel een super rustig dorpje , ook snachts niet onbelangrijk.. zeker de moeite waard om eens een bezoekje te brengen aan dit prachtige hotel in Zeeland!

Fijn net appartement

We hadden een appartement , zeer zeer ruim en netjes. Een prettig verblijf gehad. De Lidl op zeer korte afstand om boodschappen te doen en ochtends verse broodjes te halen . Zeker een aanrader.

Het appartement dat wij kregen als upgrade was mooi, maar een ding stoorde me wel: dat we in de kijk zaten, vanwege de naastgelegen parkeerplaatsen, terwijl er geen vitrage voor de ramen hing. Dus je had geen privacy, tenzij je (overdag!) de gordijnen dicht deed. Een 2e punt dat ik minder vond was het ontbijt. Op zich prima, behalve de extra's als roerei of een gebakken eitje, of een glas sap. We betaalden er 15,= p.p. voor, maar voor alle extra's, die normaliter op een ontbijtbuffet staan, moest je bijbetalen, à 2,50 per item. Daarbij werd er nogal aangestuurd op die bijverkoop. Jammer!

Het appartement dat wij kregen als upgrade was prima, op en dfing na: Doordat de ruimte direct aan de parkeervakken grensde, en er geen vitrages voor de ramen hangen, zit je in de kijk aks je niet overdag met de gordijnen dicht wilt zitten. Zou simpel op te lossen zijn door er wel vitrage neer te hangen.

Prima stek maar appartement 117 ligt tegenover de bakker en dat geeft 'snachts wel overlast bij open ramen. Zou niet verhuurd moeten worden denk ik.

L'hôtel mérite manifestement ses étoiles. Grand confort, très belle décoration et personnel sympathique, mais quand à la réservation vous demandez des lits jumeaux et qu'à l'arrivée on vous donne une chambre à lit double, ça ne convient pas nécessairement!

Altes Rathaus in entzückender Ortschaft

Als Familie in Appartementwohnung untergebracht. Wohnung sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet, Küche mit allen erforderlichen Geräten vorhanden. Frühstück war nicht inclusive, allerdings für den Preis sehr lecker und ausreichend, für Kinder allerdings nicht so gut, da kein Honig und Nutella dabei.

Schön und (aber) sehr ruhig

Das Hotel ist das alte Rathaus der Stadt und somit sehr alt aber dennoch gut eingerichtet. Wir hatten die Suite mit Whirlpool im Zimmer. Der Whirlpool war super! Der Fernsehr im Zimmer hatte leider nur drei deutsche Sender( ARD, ZDF und WDR). Ein großes Manko ist allerdings, dass das Bad keine Decke hat! Man ist also von der Toilette zum Rest des Zimmers nur durch einen "Sichtschutz" getrennt (hören kann man alles). Zudem war bei uns im Zimmer der Zugang zum Dachboden (eine Tür in der Wand in 2m Höhe) welche nicht abgeschlossen war (abends doch etwas gruselig). Zimmerservice über Tablet, welches allerdings im Bestellvorgang nicht richtig funktionierte. Die Umgebung war jetzt über Silvester quasi tot, kein Mensch weit und breit. Personal super nett. Cooles Hotel. Im großen und ganzen eine Empfehlung!

Uitwaaien in Zeeland

Rustig gelegen hotel met goede keuken en vriendelijk personeel! We kregen een prachtige ruime kamer. Op Tholen is niet zoveel te zien maar op het er onder gelegen Zuid Beveland en Walcheren zijn veel mooie, oude steden.
