「The location and setting is magnificent, but what made Pioneer so special is the wonderful service by all the staff working under the perfect oversight of Manager Simon. Our tent butler, Juma, was a special delight. The nightly dining under the stars was so special and the meals were excellent. 「Asanja Moru has been around for 9 years is a lovely property. I really like the location in the western part of the Serengeti, it is green and lush and beautifully serene. 「Very memorable dinner around the fire. The staffs were singing and dancing very happily from their heart. The beddings are awesome, slept very well for 2 nights. The dinner soup were delicious. The location is not at map so for the first time it’s hard to find.」

「The staff went over and above to make this a unique experience. Our butler Ali was superb, Gideon who cleaned our room is out of this world. Folds your shirts and makes the bed twice a day. The young chef made meals that were consistently tasty. Rashid the Camp manager was a charm and excellent host. Highly recommend this place. 」

「Overpriced substandard facilities. Freezing cold bedroom. Ugly architecture, dark and dingy. Dirty dark and cold bathroom. Window stained with dead bugs and dust. No heaters to compensate. Very depressing. No hot water. We were forced to to ask them to boil water and put it into buckets in order to wash ourselves by using an empty margarine container. Unheard of when we have paid £900 to be in this tacky facility worthy of a YMCA student accommodation Location of the property is very bad....

「We actually stayed at the sister camp Serengeti Safari Lodge because of an upgrade. We had a tented cabin with a nice bathtub, separate shower, nice comfy bed tented with a mosquito net. We could see some game from our balcony and could see the sunrise from our bed, Which made our stay an unforgettable experience. The staff is very kind and attentive. We booked the game drives with the Lodge and it was a wonderful experience. 」
