Nice property for a historical site. Cozy. Nice bathroom and tub. Only downside was we were there in winter and the room was uncomfortably warm. We opened the windows with little relief. Street noise is a bit loud in the morning.

EXTRAORDINARY...VERY IMPRESSIVE HOTEL and HISTORY

Fantastic Stay!! Can't say enough.. Rooms CLEAN and Comfortable.. Friendly Staff.. went way out of their way to accommodate our special needs.. The Owner "JIM" was absolutely involved and more than that.. truly cared for my Family as we had a health scare.. The FOOD was excellent.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The TRAIN ride from Durango , stay the week then take the train back.. I rode the train 40 years ago, more than 6 other times before taking our grandbaby on her first trainride! They have upgraded to access ziplines, hiking trails, etc. Will definitely be back!!!!

This is one of the neatest old hotels I've stay at. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. This 100 year old hotel was clean, well appointed, and in incredible shape. A few years ago it underwent a major renovation. The owners did a great job of maintaining the fine craftsmanship and ambiance of the hotel while bringing the plumbing and electrical up to code.Connecting the hotel to the Silver Spur Restaurant was great amenity. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Loved Dale the piano player in the bar for entertainment. Service and staff excellent. Room was great except faced out back right by vent for the kitchen. When vent ran was very loud. W ent off around 11pm but went on at 5:30 in the morning and woke us up it was so loud.

The property was everything we expected of a beautiful old fashioned hotel. Wonderful renovations, super super clean and staff was always very helpful. Highly recommend this property, you wont be disappointed!

It's a cute little historic hotel in Silverton that truly does feel like you're stepping back into the 1800s. The staff were also very nice and accommodating. The room was cute and clean but VERY small. Both the room and bathroom were a bit tight but to be expected for an old hotel. However, what really what we couldn't stand was the bed. The bed was a full-size and it was so incredibly uncomfortable. It was a very firm box spring with no give and the pillows were so flat. After three nights our backs were killing us and we barely slept. Also the food at the Lone Spur, the restaurant connected to the hotel, was mediocre at best. Overall, not terrible but not great. Would not stay there again.

We love old hotels. This was a great one. Hostess went out of her way to bring an extra fan to help cool the room. Very comfortable after that.
