This is a cute place located off the main road going thru Silver City. Our room was clean and we really dug the vintage vibes. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting Silver City.

The Lulu hotel is a great place to stay if you are passing through silver city. It is on the main road in to town. You do need a car to get to the historic downtown area. The staff were courteous, making checking in and out super easy. The rooms have recently been renovated and have a very retro feel. My only suggestion would be to up grade their linens! The bedding seemed old and the towels very worn. Otherwise it was a great stay!

They've done a good job sprucing up an old property. Our room was bright and well lit. We could hear other guests through the walls, but it wasn't annoying or disruptive. The bathroom was very old. Overall, it was fine for our 2 days in Silver City. Breakfast was very adequate: fresh fruit, toast, bagels, instant oatmeal, yogurt, tea and coffee.

Loved Lulu! The retro decor is so fun & the bed was super comfortable. Towels were a tad thin so that would help improve our rating; otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, spacious. The hotel is an older building and some of the plumbing shows it. The refrigerator and microwave are nice addition. The table and chairs are also really comfortable.

So it's obviously an older motel that they updated to retro style. They did well on retro appliances and decor however I would never recommend going in the winter. The heating unit is very inadequate to keep the room at minimal comfort. Was cold all night and I was happy to leave early without showering or eating the minimal breakfast. Girl at front desk said "very cold rooms" a common complaint in the winter.
