There was a blood stain drop on the sheet, the shower wasn’t so clean, but the bed was comfortable and the breakfast may have been the best continental I’ve ever had. The lady down there was so nice and pleasant. The healthy food options were so nice to see.

Always an inexpensive stay that takes dogs. Beds very comfortable. Certain problems with the physical plant have long been unattended to: One of the main side entry doors has been broken for years and will not open. The elevator was out of busniess. The ice machine didn't work on the first floor. The door handles on the working side entry door and on room 127 were too hard for my wife open. These are simple-to-fix issues that the Holiday Inn Express organization should never let sliide. Message to the franchise owner: "Spend the money to protect your investment or quit the hospitality business."

Nice and quiet place

It was an ok stay no pool due to broke down pump, shower leaked and flooded bathroom but they were quick to solve and offered to move us. The staff was super awesome and very friendly. The breakfast looked good but we did not eat due to an early appointment. Even though we had a few small issue i will return and stay.

Clean, but needs a refresh

The hotel was clean and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. The hotel itself is in need of a refresh and our towels were ragged, so points lost in that category. The free breakfast was very good and the staff kept up with the food to ensure everything was hot and available. The hot cinnamon rolls were delicious! Overall, not a bad place for a small town.

This hotel is great for outdoor folks, and hunters. We were on a family trip. It's a little beat up but clean. I would say if you are higher maintenance then this hotel is not for you. This is more for folks who are used to "county" style settings where hikers, bikers, and sportsmen have stayed and played. It could use a little TLC but was very clean.

Remodel?

Our experience was OK. There was remideling going on but we were told our side if the hitel was done. Yet there was still drops of paint on the floor and in the tub. The tub was clearly very old and the toilet ran all night. The carpet was new and the bed was comfortable.

I am done with Expedia. I stayed in a room in Roswell, NM that had a pool and hot tub as part of the description.....neither was open. This hotel had a pool. I was travelling with three grandsons who were ready to swim but the pool was not open. Perhaps if I made the reservation myself I would have been notified about the lack of swimming pool. The hotel's maid had to be instructed to leave enough towels for the FOUR of us. The maid took some of the trash. How tough is it to empty two trashcans. I could go on and on but it is pointless. On the good side the women who "manned" the breakfast were exception and made sure everything was good. I paid $575.25 for four nights in a hotel that advertised a pool but it was not open. Shame on this Holiday Inn Express.
