Guten tag

Hotel location was good and also peaceful tucked away... Frustration was that outside of breakfast you can't even get a coffee and the bar is permanently closed

Old and outdated hotel with no bar or restaurant. The room has old and uncomfortable furniture, car parking spaces are limited and although there is a large public car park close by that can also be busy as it serves a large events venue and charges a fee from 7am. The location is ok, although there is not much close by. Breakfast is good with good variety and decent selection of choices.

Is it still a Wyndham hotel?

I do not think this hotel is still managed by Wyndham so that was the first disappointment. Next to enter the hotel you have to walk past anyone who is smoking at the time. Rooms had a musty smell and the beds were two singles pushed next to eachother. Very dated, the nightstand still had a radio built into it. Breakfast was still hot and fresh, and staff were friendly and courteous.

Dated, worn and warm in summer

Like living in a time capsule - i.e somewhat dated and worn. No AC unforunately made for a hot room in the summer heat. Not terrible, in particular for the price, but will probably look elsewhere for next time. May come back if this is the only affordable option.

Unbelievably we arrived after 10 and couldn’t check in. There was no email from them telling us this and a standard confirmation with this important detail hidden in the small print. There is no one there overnight God only knows what would happen if there was a fire! Really ridiculous.

Som udgangspunkt en fint hotel. Dog har de problemer med røgalarmen, så den starter hver 2 time om natten. Man bliver så vækket 4 gange på en nat på 8 time. Ganske forfærdeligt ophold.

Hotel hat, bis auf Empfang und Frühstücksraum schon ein paar Jahre hinter sich. Sauberkeit und Einrichtung waren trotzdem in Ordnung. Kostenfreie Parkplätze vor dem Hotel sind rar, in der Umgebung muss man dafür zahlen. Personal war gut gelaunt. Beim Frühstück gibt es Punktabzug. Obst und Gemüse wurde von Tag zu Tag weniger, bis es am letzten Tag nichts mehr gab. Frühstücksbuffet war insgesamt recht einfach gehalten.

Aufgrund einer Veranstaltung war das Hotel Amedia in Siegen die erste Wahl aufgrund der kurzen Entfernung. Check-in verlief problemlos und das Personal war sehr nett. Hatte ein Zimmer ohne Frühstück weshalb ich mir dann noch mal für 16€ Frühstück dazu gekauft habe.

Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren sehr sauber. Leider eine sehr laute Nachbarschaft. Es ist schwer, abends einzuschlafen. Zum Frühstück gab's gesüßten Kaffee in der Thermoskanne und etwas nicht mehr ganz so frischen Aufschnitt.

Die Unterkunft ist insgesamt gut. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles ist intakt und das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Dame an der Rezeption ist super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit das sollte man aufjedenfall hervorheben. Die Zimmer riechen alt und bisschen muffig. Die Teppiche sind auch Minimum 25 Jahre alt und voller Flecken. Die Austattung im Zimmer ist in einem guten Zustand aber alt. Schade nur das auf den Bildern bei der Buchung die neuen Zimmer angezeigt werden man jedoch die alten kriegt. Die Jüngere Dame aus dem Büro sollte ein bisschen an ihrer Freundlichkeit arbeiten, Augen verdrehen weil man einen Mangel anspricht zeigt nicht den Respekt den man als Gast erwartet.

Nur ein paar hundert Meter von der Altstadt entfernt ist dieses schöne und ruhige Hotel. Wenn auch die Zimmer nicht auf dem neuesten Stand sind ist trotzdem alles in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand.
