"Stayed here for a night on my to Lumbini. Pros: Allowed early check in (8 am) Front desk and kitchen staffs were friendly and helpful. Easy access to local transportation Cons: No running hot water for shower. They brought hot water in buckets when asked. Dusts in the room and used soap in the bathroom. Only one towel. " The hotel was nice but in need of updating. We had a Japanese-styled room with rice paper doors with many damaged rice paper panels. There was no light next to the bed, only the overhead light. The service was excellent. Lumbini was filled with smoke from surrounding agricultural burns., which we were told were typical in November and December.
