"It was as I imagined. Cozy, charming, and comfortable. Even without AC in the room we were provided with fans to help with the heat and it was cool at night to sleep. The restaurant had great food for both diner and breakfast. I would recommend if you are looking for an overnight stay."

"We did stay during heatwave but bedroom was too hot to sleep in although fans were provided. Ice was not available after bar closed to cool down drinks/water. Staff very friendly and in excellent location"

"The room we had was a little small but adequate for a short stay. Price very reasonable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, food was good but they didn't replenish quickly enough. We had to ask for more coffee, pastries and eggs many times. However, the staff always acted to resolve the issues as soon as they could."

"We didn’t get off to the best start as arrived to find a notice on the pub door to say that there was no power and pub was shut! Had to call a number to book in, young man arrived and assured us that our rooms were unaffected and that breakfast would be provided in the morning. Room clean and comfortable, major plus was good sized bath towels. Breakfast was indeed provided, full English cooked fresh to order, Kevin was lovely.
