Captain’s wife prepared delicious healthy meals for us every day. Guests from all over the world gathered in the evenings to enjoy games, drinks and conversation. "I chose this hotel for its location next to a ski resort and I liked the look of the tatami rooms. This hotel is very cheap and you get what you pay for. The room was small and old, the futon mattresses you use to make your bed were thin and I woke up achy every day. The staff were helpful and friendly with limited English. We tried a meal at the hotel and were asked to pay in advance and then given no menu - we just got what was given (which wasn’t bad actually). Theu have their own rental for...

"We were spoilt with first class attention and assistance from Andrew, the host, and staff. It is why we like to choose an owner establishment rather than a 'marbled foyer'. A warm lounge and wine and conversation to come back to at the end of an unbelievable ski day. Love the underfloor heating! The shuttle is quick, easy and flexible. The location is great and a short walk to and from dining options. We can't wait to get back!"
