Popular spot for fishers and some people boat to Wooster Island, which can be seen from the park. I believe there's a boat ramp south of the park. I'm planning on going back in the fall for the fall foliage and maybe do a long exposure to smooth out the water.
A little gem I found over the weekend still holding some fall colors. Hope Lake in Shelton Connecticut USA not far from my home town. Big rain came today so I wanted to get out before the weather turned and ruined the foliage that was left.

I had a really nice stay at the Hilton Gardens inn easy to get to the building off the interstate plenty big selection of places to eat. Also the hotel has a dining hall and bar.
