The hot portion of the breakfast consists of waffles, sausage and frozen cheese omelets. The omelets are not great. The cold breakfast options are ok. Would prefer a better breakfast. Room was clean and fully stocked.

We would have given this stay 5 stars if it wasn’t for the breakfast. The rooms are beautiful, the lobby is tastefully done and beautiful, we found everything to be very clean as well. But how hard is it to have scrambled eggs and a meat item for breakfast?! All other breakfast options (cold items) were good but both mornings the only hot food was biscuits and gravy. How many people in today’s world love biscuits and gravy? We didn’t complain but just tried to find other items for breakfast but while we sat at breakfast we heard repeated complaints when people discovered only biscuits and gravy. Please offer some type of egg and meat choice and we will be staying here every time we come to visit in NW iowa! It is a lovely hotel overall and rates equally or better than the Holiday Inn or Fairfield Inn in Sioux Center! At a much better price.

GrandStay was highly recommended by area friends. They were spot on! The staff was welcoming and helpful, but never intrusive. Breakfast offers several choics for different appetites. The room was sparkling. The pool and hot tube were clean and pleasant, and open late enough to use after a business meeting. The location is very convenient to Rock Valley. Five stars all around!
