Highly recommend Monachus Monachus. Eleni and Nikos were so helpful and welcoming. The apartment was well equipped, comfy bed, spotless, great kitchen equipment. Swimming pool was amazing, plenty of sun beds and shade. We used public transport to get around so hire car not necessary if you are prepared to be flexible. Location is perfect for walking to the multiple tavernas around ( try Coral for great atmosphere and superb food). Just a lovely lovely place with amazing hosts. Thank you Eleni and Nikos. X

Easy access to beach and mountains with lots of local restaurants within walking distance and great bakeries for breakfast. Hosts could not have been kinder. Quiet, air conditioned and although may be seen as basic had everything that’s needed, with pool too!

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal hier und haben uns wieder gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Eleni und Nikos, die Besitzer sind sehr herzlich und helfen gern bei Problemen. Vielen Dank! Alles, was bei unserem ersten Aufenthalt vor einigen Jahren für uns nicht so gut an der Unterkunft war( Dusche, Kleiderschrank) wurde inzwischen verändert, wenn auch die Größe des Bades sehr eingeschränkt ist. Das Grundstück und der Pool sind schön angelegt und ebenfalls gepflegt. Man erreicht zu Fuß alles, was man braucht: Strand, Supermarkt, Bäckerei und Tavernen. Für alle, die Ruhe und keine Menschenmassen suchen und individuell Urlaub machen wollen, ist das ein empfehlenswerter Ort. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Soluzione accogliente a fragokastello

Residence costituito da appartamenti e monolocali molto nuovi dall'aspetto curato anche nelle parti comuni come giardino, bar e piscina. Si trova alla giusta distanza dalla spiaggia perché permette di essere raggiunta a piedi in 5 minuti. Il nostro monolocale era vista mare e al secondo piano quindi ottima posizione, stanza pulita e arredamento consono. Piccoli difetti: il bar ristornate chiude alle 9 di sera, quindi per bere qualcosa dopo cena bisogna recarsi ad una taverna al di fuori, nella nostra stanza era presente una luce di sicurezza posizionata proprio davanti al letto che non permetteva di avere la stanza completamente buia(nel giro di 2 notti ci abbiamo fatto l'abitudine).

Velmi dobry rodinny podnik

Tri dvouposchodove domy s malymi byty s kuchynskym koutem v zahrade s bazenem. Vse ve velmi dobrem stavu. Cisto. K mori s prekvapive dobrou plazi je to 20 min chuze po prasne ceste, ale spise doporucuji jet autem. Auto je nezbytne na vylety po krasnem okoli. Krome stare pevnosti je kolem jen par dalsich ubytoven a restauraci a obchod s bankomatem. Jediny hluk je od cikad. Pokud potrebujete disko jedte na severni pobrezi. Mili majitele mluvi dobre anglicky. Internet maximalne na e-mail. Datovy roaming (cervenec 2017) zadny z mistnich operatoru neprovozoval.

Top appartementen!

Super leuke appartementen, ruim opgezet en onwijs aardige eigenaren. Echt bijkomen in de rust, strand is ook prachtig. Bij ons stond er het eerste deel van de week een flinke wind waardoor strand niet echt fijn was, dit schijnt vaker zo te zijn. Douche is een beetje klein, wc wordt helemaal nat als je doucht. Maar daar is alles mee gezegd, super verblijf gehad!

Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Es wäre ein schöner Aufenthalt für Familien mit Kindern. Wir sind als Paar gereist und nachdem wir die Umgebung erkundet haben, war es schon langweilig dort. Im Übrigen gibt es einen sehr schönen Strand in der Nähe, ca. 1 km östlich von Frangokastello. Der andere Strand ist fußläufig erreichbar. Wir haben jedoch immer das Auto genutzt, da es zu warm war und es gibt kaum Schatten auf dem Weg. Was uns gefehlt hat: Die Anlage befindet sich nicht direkt am Strand, die Tavernen befinden sich auch etwas weiter am Strand. Das Personal ist sehr nett und spricht sehr gut Englisch. Die Zimmer sind sauber, nicht groß, aber mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet.

Lovely peaceful hotel

Simple but comfortable room with well equipped kitchen.Spotlessly clean. The balcony had a view of the sea and castle.The hotel grounds were nicely laid out with flowers and trees. There was a large very clean pool in a nice sunbathing area with a small café. Five minutes walk to the beach,and several good tavernas nearby. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and advised us of places to visit.

Excellent family holiday

We stayed a Monachus with a family of four for two weeks in August and had a lovely time. It's a complex of around 20 apartments, located within a nice landscaped area, about 300 m from the beach. The apartment was spacious, modern, and clean, with large balcony and basic cooking facilities. The pool is fantastic -- large (about 15 m long), with a children's area and a deep end. The kids swam there every day, sometimes twice a day. Frangokastello has everything you need -- a huge, quiet, sandy beach (not crowded, even in August), about 10 tavernas, all of which have great food, and two supermarkets. And there's the Venetian castle, right at the beach, which is very impressive. Close to Frangokastello there are dozens of other nice beaches, some of which are excellent for snorkelling.

Fin ferie

Vi reiste 2 besteforeldre, 1 mamma og 2 barn. Fin beliggenhet med gåavstand til flere gode strender, bra basseng med mulighet for å kjøpe forfriskninger. Leiligheten var ren, vertskapet veldig imøtekommende og alltid på service siden. Godt utgangspunkt for utflukter/severdigheter. Hyggelig å være i et lokal samfunn.
