The room was not properly cleaned. The bed sheets were dirty, and the extra duvet—stored under the bed for the pull-out sofa—was filthy and visibly stained. Our request for early check-in was refused due to “ongoing cleaning,” which made it particularly frustrating to discover such poor hygiene standards.
Staff availability is limited to 10:30–18:30; outside these hours, there is effectively no support. The refrigerator was switched on but not cooling, which was a serious issue as we needed it to store medication. Additionally, the toilet had an unpleasant odor upon arrival.
While the room itself was visually attractive, with characterful walls and ceilings, the lack of cleanliness and poor operational standards significantly undermined the overall experience.
