"Wir haben im grosszügigen Wohnbereich von Esther und Jose gewohnt. Es fehlte an nichts, das Frühstück, bei dem es an nichts fehlte, wurde von Esther zubereitet. J und E standen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.
Wir bekamen zum Essen eccellente Insidertipps.

"This place is super cute and inviting. It’s in a quiet and safe area. The staff is so sweet and accommodating. You can get surf lessons, rent boards, yoga and participate in their scheduled activities in the evening. Breakfast was great and included. "

"Petit déjeuner copieux, rien ne manque .
Vue agréable sur la campagne
En cours d’aménagement, mais une fois les travaux terminés, cela va être super!! Il manquerait une bouteille d’eau dans la chambre.
Beaux endroits à découvrir sur place, mais il faut être véhiculé."

"A beautiful, unique and rare accommodation. This manor house has been in the same family for several hundred years and this same family still host and staff the house. This home and garden is a real labour of love and history. It is more of a museum than a hotel.
The house is graced with beautiful antiques, paintings, plates and murals from centuries gone by.
My room was nicely appointed with a good view, a comfortable bed, wifi, good water pressure, and fresh linens.

Amazing hotel. Gorgeous views. Clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and eye catching. Breakfast was nice. Staff extremely pleasant. The hotel was at the top of the town so there is some climbing involved. But the steep street right down into town starts 100 feet up the street. Not too bad even for someone walking with a cane. We found an amazing restaurant right around the corner where we had one of the best meals we have ever had-Tacho Real. A lovely interior. Highly recommend the sea...

My 22 year old granddaughter and I totally enjoyed our 3 nights here in early September, 2014 at the end of our ten day holiday in Portugal. The historic Pergola House beautifully decorated with antique furnishings, the glass of Port in the evenings, the tasty hot breakfast (included gluten free items as requested) served on linen tablecloths and the staff were exceptional. Our room with two comfortable single beds had its own balcony that overlooked the beautiful gardens. The property has a...

Wonderful place to stay during a visit to Sintra.Everyone is warm and welcoming, specially Armie. She made the Best dinners in town, everything was fresh and eating on the patio in the woods could not be better! Rented the separate house and slept like a baby from the fresh air and quiet surroundings. Closer to the main attractions than staying in town, because you are out in the park that has all the castles. Sintra transportation logistics are difficult, because of the amount of visitors and...

This location was within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and Rainha beach. The quality of the bed and linens and the attention to detail was impeccable. it was like being in a protected oasis and Marco and the staff were so sweet and extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices, also very helpful if you ’re running up to Sintra or sightseeing. We would highly recommend!

This Bed and Breakfast is in the former residence of a 16th century aristocrat. It’s not a big hotel hotel chain property and that’s its charm. The common rooms are quite large and beautifully decorated in old world style. The included breakfast is served every day until 11 a.m. and is a wonderful buffet including hot and cold selections, marvelous pastries, and best of all, a pianist, violinist and a singer. The hotel also has drivers who are employees of the hotel and they are there to serve...

Small B and B in Barrio Alto. Do not be afraid that you will be kept awake by the notorious nightlife activities associated with this district. It is on a quiet street and not close to bars although there are many within walking distance. Great breakfast and the room was very clean. There was no television, if that is important. Also, no elevator so you will have to carry your bags upstairs. The young staff is VERY friendly and helpful. I definitely would stay here again if we return to...

The hotel is located on a major street Avenida da Republica. It is one block away from Metro station and bus stop and about 5 minute walk to a train station. Ride from the airport by Metro will take 30-35 minutes and about 20 minutes by taxi or Uber. A large shopping mall (with movie theater) is right across. Not many restaurants around except for fast food and ice cream shop. Nonetheless the ride to Rossi, Restaudores, and Plaça do Comercio takes about 15 minutes and there’s a bus going to...
