「Le propriétaire m'a dit qu'il ne travaillait plus avec expedia alors que j'avais une réservation avec expedia et donc il ne m'avait pas réservé de chambre. Par conséquent il m'a logé dans une chambre de dépannage sans aucun confort (juste un matelas sur le sol). Chambre située sous le toit alors qu'il faisait extrêmement chaud (période de canicule) et chambre qui n'était pas équipée de clim ou de ventilateur. J'ai passé une nuit exécrable.」

「Au Clos du Lac was one of the best B&Bs we’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful spacious room, stunning gardens and lovely pool/spa area. Anaïs was very welcoming and friendly and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. A real luxury treat in a beautiful village not far from Reims and the champagne region. We’ll be back!」

「The room was good size for one person. The tram is just basically next to the hotel. takes about 30min to go to the old town.」

「The hotel lived up to its name with a fantastic welcome from the receptionist when we arrived. The whole check-in experience was probably the best I have had in over 600 hotel stays. The room was exactly as described. This is not trying to be a luxury hotel but it is great value. There were so many "individual" touches in the hotel that made you think "this is different" - in a nice way ! I would definitely recommend.」

「Fabulous experience and highlight of our 3 weeks in Europe. Beautiful castle, fabulous dinner and breakfast and the experience was lovely and regal with our maître D. The grounds and historic site added to the weekend. Played tennis and will have to come back to enjoy the pool and hot tub when it is not raining. They are renovating some as well, but this is a well preserved piece of history while still have the charm you would expect from a castle. Better than all the modernized chateau’s.」

「Location and parking was good. Receptionist was grumpy. Room has see better days. The window could not be locked, there was no air conditioning and room needed redecorating. No English speaking channel on TV. Breakfast from 7 am. No cooked breakfast eg scrambled eggs,bacon. Bar was at property but not serving drinks. I requested ice cubes for water drinks but not available. At best it was basic.」

「Shower head didn’t stay up while showering unless held in place. Bathroom smelt of sewage. Hotel in general is run down and could do with a good clean.」
