In 2008, I entered my freshman year at Pepperdine University. That year, one of my most beloved traditions began in the creation of what is now a #localgem of Malibu. Each September, Pepperdine University honors the men and women whose lives were lost on September 11, 2001 with the "Wave of Flags." One full size flag is flown for each individual who lost his or her life. They are represented by home country

#GoldenHour at Corral Creek Beach in Malibu. On this evening the sky was truly spectacular, the photo is unedited and doesn't have any filters, but standing there watching this was mesmerizing. Great place for a short hike to the medicine wheel which is fun to see. Much cooler are all the rock formations that Are amazing to see. Best to go during the week as it is not so busy but if weekend is the only time then go early or late. Very busy :-)
