"I love staying here normally and I had high hopes for my first visit since the property was refreshed. The new paint, wallpaper, carpets, and color schemes is perfect, and my King water view room was everything I wanted. *EXCEPT* that when I checked in at 4:15 and asked for a ground floor because my currently-disabled mom wanted to visit (she lives in town) and this hotel doesn't have an elevator. I was told that would be no problem, but that rooms are not ready yet. I get it, that happens, and they would call me as soon as it's ready. I had some food in the lounge restaurant, and went back to the front desk at 5:15. Unfortunately, somehow there was no longer a ground floor room available. On a Tuesday, and the parking lot is mostly empty, so my mom didn't get to visit with me and enjoy a nice view. I'm probably going to stay there again as it's my fave hotel in my former hometown, but if I ever need anything not usual, I'm going to be double and triple checking, otherwise it's a nice place. "
"The building itself is definitely older and the furniture inside as well as the bedding. The staff was amazing so nice so courteous. The room was really quiet and very spacious. Bagels, coffee, tea, and juice in the morning was an extra benefit. I look forward to staying there again soon. "
"The hotel was marketed in a misleading way, both by the property owner and on Expedia. Based on the photos and description, we believed we had booked a room with an in-room jetted hot tub. However, upon check-in, we were informed that we had a standard room and that the hot tub rooms were no longer available.
Additionally, the property was presented as a secure hotel, but in reality the rooms are motel-style units facing a busy street. There was also no breakfast offered, either complimentary or for purchase.
The only positive aspect of our stay was the water view."
"This was a great experience for the team of parents and basketball 12-13 y.o. boys. The staff was so tolerant and helpful! The snacks provided made all the difference in the world. The pool was great, the work out room was nice and the Continental Breakfast offered a great selection. Thank you again for making our weekend pleasurable! "
"This is our third stay at the property. The other two stays have been great, but this time the room smell like mold and there was a person yelling very loudly at 7:00 in the morning. I'm afraid I didn't get the best feedback or help from the management. There was mold and slime on the bottom of the shower. The jetted tub was fantastic"
