Bad First Day, but overall OK

We had a lovely stay, however, we've been sent to a different hotel on the first night due to booking the hotel via hotels.com. The receptionist insisted that we are not booked in their system, and therefore, was sent over to a much uglier and uncomfortable hotel nearby. This disrupted our first sightseeing day as we had to pack our luggage again to transfer back to Hotel Icon. They also provided the same breakfast every single morning (toasted bread, jam, coffee, cereals, muffin, orange juice)

+ sehr gute Ausgangslage für alle Aktivitäten ( U-Bahnhof Jongno 3(sam)-ga ) in Reichweite. + Convenience Stores in Reichweite + sehr günstiger Preis ( ca. 30€ DZ/Nacht ) + viel Streetfood, Unterhaltung und Restaurants in Reichweite. ( das Viertel ist nicht unbedingt etwas für Familien ) - die Bilder im Internet ( z.B. Dachterasse, Zustand der Zimmer ) sind von einem Profi Fotografen mit Nachbearbeitung ) erstellt worden. ( 2019 - Wartungsstau ? ) - 24h Rezeption = eine aufgestellte Webcam mit der man sich unterhalten kann . evt. meldet sich auch jemand. - nicht einfach zu finden. Mit Free Wifi und guter Vorplanung aber zu finden . Frühstück ist nicht zu bewerten. Bei dem Preis geht einfach nichts mehr. Wenig Sitzplätze , Tetra Pack mit Saft & Milch. Kaffee ähnliches Getränk. Toast mit Marmelade - Fertig Jongno-gu = die ursprüngliche „Altstadt“

お部屋は快適でした。チェックイン、チェックアウトはカメラでスタッフと話さないといけないので、会話がやりづらいです。食堂のトースターの使い方が解りづらいので、張り紙がほしいです

Das Frühstück ist recht spartanisch (Toast, Butter, Marmelade, Muffin, gekochtes) und jeden Tag identisch. Es gab im Bad keine Duschkabine, der Duschkopf war am Handwaschbecken angebracht. D.h. bei Duschen setzt man das ganze Bad unter Wasser. Das ist ungewohnt, man muss sich dran gewöhnen und verschiedene Dinge zeitlich organisieren.

Excellent subway station nearby, just use exit 6 of Jong ro3 station since the hotel is tucked in an alley and there are swarms of alleys in the area or the first time will be so hard to find even locals have a hard time helping with directions here while map apps will have you walking in circles. On the other hand, these awesome alleys are filled with crowded, authentic, charming eateries where natives are socializing until late so it is great to get away from the commercialized tourist zones and see a bit of what the locals do here at night.

コスパ良いホテル

地下鉄安国駅から最寄りです。メイン通りから少し中に入りますが、明洞駅からタクシーでも50000W(500円程)ですし、アクセス良いです！ ホテルはバスタブなしのシャワーのみで、お手洗いも一緒のためゆっくりシャワーしたい方向きではありませんが、コスパから見ても良いと思います。 朝食はパン3種類、自分で作るゆで卵、オレンジジュース、牛乳、フルーツでした。 この安さで朝食付きはすごくいいです。 フロントの方が帰りにタクシーを呼んでくれましたし、とても丁寧でした！

フロントの対応がいいホテル

地下鉄の駅から歩いて5分から10分ほどの立地です。エレベーターもあるので、重い荷物があっても移動は楽だと思置います。 フロントでは英語が通じ、対応もよかったです。

Two of us stayed in a room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed for 4 nights at end of October 2018. I would highly recommend this hotel for the elevator facility and the locality within 10 minutes walk to food and subway station at budget hotel price. The one thing it can improve on is the hot water shower. It is not consistent and you get surprises as it can become too hot or too cold intermittently.

Kein luxus-hotel, aber zweckmäßig!

Für das geld ist die unterkunft echt in Ordnung. Frühstück ist etwas spartanisch und nicht besonders abwechslungsreich. Die dusche war auch etwas komisch, da es nur einen duschkopf gab und man sich neben dem klo stehend und den duschkopf haltend duschen musste. Personal war super nett und hat einem viel weitergeholfen.

Four days in Seoul

The hotel is in a much more traditional area which is a good location but can be hard to navigate walking around sometimes. Very small rooms with fairly uncomfortable beds, but good value for the price. Nice it included a free breakfast.

友善方便整潔

酒店主人Mr Ju非常親切有禮，有任何問題都盡力幫客人解決，單單其服務態度已值五星。而且酒店位置優越，到安國站、仁寺洞、昌德宮、雲峴宮都是五分鐘距離，到三清洞北村亦是可步行距離，附近亦有不少餐廳便利店，十分方便。 唯一不足之處是房間略小，床有點硬，而且洗手間沒有乾濕分離，但以這樣的價格和地理位置，還是可以接受理解的。
