Very happy with our stay
We really enjoyed our stay at Samaja Villas. The room was very large and kept clean. There was an on-site restaurant and a spa. The prices are very reasonable for the restaurant and the spa services are average for a hotel with a wide range of treatments available. I would recommend the smoothie bowl for breakfast. The restaurant also has a cocktail special (3 for the price of 2) during the afternoons which was nice to take advantage of on our last night in our villa. The staff were all very friendly and greeted us each time we came through the lobby. They remembered each of our names and kept an eye on the children playing with the resident fish and turtle while we finished breakfast each morning. The location was okay. It was about a 10-15 minute walk into the heart of Seminyak which you had to cross a busy road to get to. But on the way there are restaurants, spas, and other services. If you travel away from Seminyak, there are local warungs, laundries, rice fields, and nice coffee places. A GoJek is easy to organise and it costs about $5AUD to get from the villa into Seminyak. Overall I would recommend this place. It was a little bit more than I would usually spend but the service and amenities available made for a wonderful experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Samaja Villas, the staff were extremely friendly and always welcoming. The food was great and our coffees were next level, every day we had different artwork on top from one of the very talented barristers. :-)

DO NOT STAY HERE My partner and I booked a 1 bedroom villa with a private pool which looked beautiful in the photos. The villa we were given was not the villa in the photos. The villa had a tall wall blocking the sun morning and afternoon so no sun reached the villa at all. We realised on day 3 and complained. We got offered in the afternoon to move to the villa which was advertised on Expedia however had 1 hour to move as we were taking someone else's booking scheduled to come in that night. We were very upset as this villa should have been given to us from day 1 as that's what was advertised. We booked other accommodation as we weren't happy and checked out the next day. When checking out, the staff were more concerned about us paying our drinks bill of $65aud than our overall customer experience. I have since complained to Expedia and samaja villas were refusing to give us a refund for the nights not stayed until the drinks bill is paid. This is very poor customer service. The air con is not reached in the bathroom so it is extremely hot in there. The cocktails made by the bar barely has any alcohol. They are taking advantage of their customers and it is not worth staying here.

Wonderful little oasis in Seminyak
A great find just outside the main streets of Seminyak. The villas are wonderfully appointed with your own private pool and outdoor area. Great size bed and the villa has good sized TVs both in the bedroom and outdoor patio area. The staff were lovely and extremely accommodating throughout our entire stay. It's about about a 10-15min walk from the property to the Main Street of Seminyak, which means that you don't hear any noisy road traffic. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Luxury but location not ideal
This villa was stunning - we absolutely lived it. Unfortunately it's not really in walkable distance to the heart of Seminyak or beaches. Service was great, however we list a painting whilst staying there which was gutting.

Awesome experience, nearby to everything
Hotel staffs are awesome and very attentive to details. Helpful staffs all over the place. Close to beaches, restaurants and Seminyak centre. Great place to just chill out and relax for days and forget about the city life.

The private pool is a little small. But the villa is near to many amenities.

Cosy villa
Requested for anniversary decoration and was nicely decorated and complimentary cake and fruits as well. Also appreciated for the foc 1 way transfer. Small and cosy villa for two though wish that pool was bigger. Everything are provided in the villa such as spa salt, mosquito spray, aromatherapy oil etc. The pictures provided online are exactly how it look like for the villa. 7-11, massage and buying of sim card is just near the villa. Everyday have breakfast delivered to our villa.

Friendly staff, awesome room
We had a lovely stay. Room very clean, great layout, spacious. The staff made our trip. They were warm, friendly, organised, efficient. We loved every minute. Woud book again, or reccommend for sure

Awesome villa
Our stay was amazing, I love our villa and I orangised a candle light dinner for my husband which he loved. Hotel staff were really nice also. The noise around the area was abit loud with cars driving around everywhere as it is sort of on the road but it wasn't to bad I still loved staying there

Nice Villa, not far from Seminyak Square.
Overall a very pleasing experience. The Villa was very clean and serviced 2 x daily. The breakfast was very good. The Staff were excellent! I would also recommend the massage! The villa looks exactly like the photos online.

Gorgeous villa, very comfortable and great staff
We stayed at Samaja Villas for 1 week and we had a great time. The staff were very friendly and always so helpful. Our room was exactly as the photos, very comfortable and clean. The only downfall is that it is not in the centre of Seminyak, so it is about a 10-15 minute walk or a 3 minute can ride which is fine. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends!

More than helpful staff
From the outset the staff at Samaja were brilliant. They organised a fridge full of the drinks, a motor scooter before getting to the villa. Everything ready to go.. When I left my phone back at the villa heading to the airport, they were more than helpful in getting it back to me without any hesitation. The staff were always smiling and more than happy to help.

Great place to stay
Stay: 20th - 23rd Aug 2015 After securing & paying for the room, i received an email from Samaja Villa welcoming me to this place in advance. The villa is so nice, clean, quiet and surrounded by green trees. Perfect for honeymoon. The breakfast served is nice and fresh. The staff are very attentive towards our needs. The pool is good and clean. So worth staying here.

Very nice quiet relaxing villa
Great staff very friendly. Clean villa. Location not the best, roads around are not good, no footpath, holes in side of road, not that the hotel can control this but I think that's why the price may be a bit cheaper than villas of similar quality elsewhere. Would stay again though. Just wouldn't be suitable for elderly or young children if walking, you would need to catch a taxi for all trips, which hotel can arrange for you, very quick to get a bluebird taxi. Spa was very nice, good massage. Room service was okay, not amazing but not bad. Not very big meals but not very big price so it's okay. Our room unfortunately did not get much sun which was a shame. We asked for a sunny villa before we came but the one we got was not very sunny. Pool was not heated and without much sun there were not many opportunities to swim or sunbake. If pool was heated I would have given 5 stars. Overall good value and nice villa. Would reccomend.

"Amazing stay and friendly staff"
The stay here was a good one, great rooms with pools and the staff are very friendly and ready to help you. I found however you have to ask a few times for an outcome to be reached. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to have a great stay in Seminyak. it's central, with only a short bike or taxi ride into the main stretch of all the shopping and dining.

Stayed 3 nights. Our flight was delayed and arrived at 4am. Staff were there waiting for us and they quickly got paperwork sorted as they knew we would want to get a couple of hours sleep before tackling Seminyak. Staff and room were fantastic. Perfect spot to stay for a couple as villa is very private.

Awesome villa to stay with a significant other
stayed at Samaja Villa with my girlfriend, could not ask for a better place to stay over the Christmas holiday. The staff were so nice and helpful, the complimentary breakfast that got sent to the room every morning was solid, private pool was fantastic. Also thank you Expedia for helping us find such a good deal on this place!!

Perfect Villa near everywhere in Seminyak
Only one word to describe our stay, Perfect. I would like to compliment all the staffs there as the customer service was the best i experienced throughout my stays in different hotels. We were greeted with cold towels and welcome drinks for the hot weather upon arrival and every reservation we needed was settled by the front desk counter. They will even tell you the best deals around and even book a cab for you to wherever you want. The villa was also very clean and the staffs makes sure that mosquitoes precautions are prepared for you as well. The swimming pool was a bit small to swim but i think the purpose is just to soak right? If you wanna swim, go to the beach :) Breakfast was also served into your room and there is a wide variety to choose from. I strongly recommend this villa to everyone as this was one of the best stays i had.

Great villa but a little bit out of the way...
Staff are amazing, pool villas are just what you need but it's not in a great spot of seminyak as you need a cab or transport to move around the area (crossing the big highway is not good idea) overall for the right price the hotel is a great way to see bali and staff member Bennie was more then accomadating!

lovely place
Lovely villa, room was large, aircon worked well and nicely appointed. Had all the little extras, like toothbrush and paste, bath salts, lovely soaps, hairdryer, mosquito repellant and power adapter. Only down side was there was little outside space except pool and undercover seating area. But stay was lovely and staff lovelier!

A nice quiet place to recharge.
Our first visit to Bali and we have been pleasantly surprised. Nice place to getaway to with a lot of eateries nearby and loads of shops. Sunset watching on the beach is a MUST. Local are friendly and shop owners are not pushy. We will definitely be going back to Bali in the near future.
