"There was plenty of variety at breakfast. The rooms have the shutters that make the room completely blacked out which is amazing. The walls and windows also seemed pretty soundproofing. The room was well appointed with free minibar drinks and had a view of the mountains. Parking does cost extra and there was construction on the main road to the hotel no one warned us about. They offer a summer pass that gets you discounts/access to activities in the area but this does NOT include Zugspitze gondolas or busses to the area - keep this in mind. Very close walking distance to the main shopping and eating area of the town."
"Goods: perfect location, quiet, delicious (though spendy) breakfast.
Bad: the a/c doesn’t work well and our room was very warm. I’m a hot sleeper and even the fan they provided didn’t help. do not pick the room with outdoor covered patio with 2 chairs. While it is cute, it is fully enclosed and there is no way to open a window to help cool off this exceedingly hot room."
"Not being able to stop out front to off load luggage was a little inconvenient but after looping sprints 4-5 times we finally found a spot open next door to stop.
Room was lovely ! Beds/sheets were great, air conditioning actually worked, great view.
Not sure if instant coffee is popular in Europe but our if our 16 hotels on this trip we prepared when there was proper coffee but that’s not a huge deal .
Breakfast was great ! Lots offered . Staff was slow and it took forever to get coffees but that’s not a deal breaker. Maybe they should have a self serve machine instead ?
We didn’t use the pools but it’s nice they had them.
Location was he great . Super easy to walk around old town."
