Such a cool experience! Wish we would have had more time to spend at the top of the tour in the lookout. Loved the book of photos that told the story of the tower and it's conversion. REALLY cool spot. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Really outstanding experience!! Outfitted with everything we needed, wish we had more time just to stay and enjoy the place. The observation deck is just stunning with 360 views of all the surrounding snow capped peaks, with a labeled skyline around the ceiling. The book detailing the history and creation of the place is a do not miss, clearly this project was and continues to be a labor of love. Can’t wait until we can come back again!

Le séjour s'est bien déroulé. Le lieu est très agréable, nous étions à l'étage 4, le plus haut. Un petit point negatif juste juste la fenêtre de la salle de bain/WC qui n'est pas floutée donc tous les gens qui montent à l'observatoire nous voient... La tour d'observation est un endroit très charmant et propice à l'observation des aurores.

This was the coolest place we stayed in during our entire trip. The room had everything we needed & had some very fun surprises built in as well. The wind was super strong during our stay but we still slept soundly. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Selfoss, but it is absolutely worth the stay. The northern lights viewing space at the top of the tower is incredible! It’s quiet, cozy & has seating all around. We met one other couple while we were there & they showed us some amazing photos they had managed to capture during their stay.

A huge find, we had such a wonderful and unforgetable stay at the tower, had everything we needed and more. Superbly clean and such well provided, space also very well thought, we loved it. This was a secret and lucky find for us, don't hesitate to stay here.

Electrical plugs was an issue, we had converters but the outlets were recessed with hinged covers on them, which blocked the ability to plug in a C-PAP machine or any of our devices. Room was super bright for trying to sleep, there was no window covering on the bathroom window, and the bathroom door was glass, which allowed a lot of light into the bedroom. The water from the shower ran all over the bathroom floor as there was nothing to stop it. Sitting on the toilet, your feet were wet. View was just of a farm, nothing spectacular.

Beautiful observation deck, you are sharing with 3 other apartments but we were lucky and had it to ourselves that night. Great use of space, lots of outlets, small but effective and well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, very nice bathroom with good space. We loved our night here!

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, warm, and spotless. We wish we could have stayed longer. We appreciated the place even more after looking through at the photo book in the top of the tower and learning the construction was a labor of love and completed over several years by the family that owns it.

This was THE best stay we’ve had in Iceland. Exactly as described and shown in photos. Beautiful property, easy to get to, well equipped and beautiful room. We watched sunset & sunrise from the top floor, amazing views! Would definitely stay here again if we return to Iceland.
