Ideal for couples with kids

I highly recommend Labranda for couples with young kids and teens. I was in the area for business and stayed there…it was not ideal for single travelers but still very nice. The staff was fantastic, the food was decent and the views were really nice.

Here’s a polished version of your review that keeps your tone and details but makes it read smoothly and clearly: ⸻ We stayed in a two-bedroom family villa, which was nice overall. The only issue was the bathroom door — it was made of glass and didn’t close properly, so it lacked privacy. We had to take turns for showers to manage that. Access to the beach was from the top restaurant level via stairs, and getting back up was quite a hike. Most of the staff seemed a bit grumpy, except for one lovely lady named Songül, who was very helpful and cheerful.

Hotel is perfect except for the baristas. They fulfill all the requests of foreign guests but whenever we wanted for ice coffee, received negative answers. (The coffee machine was working) Another guest (esspecially a foreign guest) could get ice coffee whenever they wanted. If we ignore this issue, we liked all dishes and desserts, pools, room (it was very comfortable), and cleaning too much.

Review — key points • Food: Limited hot options and hot meals often arrived cold because of long queues; good variety of salads and cold dishes; no table service for drinks — you collect your own. • Accommodation: Villas need refurbishment; sash window in our villa detached when opened, which felt unsafe. • Access and location: Spectacular hillside setting with excellent views; however there is a long, steep climb with many steps down to the beach and back up to the villas, so not suitable for those who struggle with stairs. A tractor-and-trailer shuttle runs to the beach at regular intervals if you don’t want to walk. • Pool and sunbathing: Attractive pool areas, but loungers fill up quickly — even in October you need to be fast to secure one. Overall impression and tip Lovely setting and decent facilities, but expect practical frustrations: arrive prepared to queue for hot food, avoid if you have mobility issues, and check the villa for maintenance problems on arrival.

Excellent hotel! Many things to do and very close to Ephesus, the house of the Virgin Mary. Bus 1 stop in front of the hotel and takes you to Kusadasi port and center which is BEAUTIFUL!!!

A very average stay

I stayed for 6 nights. The first room I checked into was unsafe. The floor was uneven and I fell. The second room also had flooring that was beginning to lift and was well worn. The bed was like a brick but I was able to get a foam topper and this helped somewhat. There are 3 lifts but it was rare that all 3 were in working order at the same time. This meant long waits. The buffet area had lots of variety but the food was rarely more than luke warm. I asked for gluten free bread and was told they didn’t have any and would not be getting any in. On the plus side there were never any issues getting a sun lounger and a foam topper. The hotel is in a rural location. The local busses stop at the hotel entrance and are cheap. A one way taxi into Kusadasi was about 20 euro.

I used the hotel as a hub to visit historic sites. The food at the fish restaurant is amazing. Expect to see bird poop on the veranda rails of the main restaurant. The property is on a hill and if you have bad knees you better be prepared or call reception for the bell boy to take you up or down with the cart. I do not like cold water, so I didn’t swim at all in any of their pools. There is a local bus that stops outside the hotel that goes to Kusiadase. I was very upset that security did not allow my friend to drop me at the reception. The guard didn’t even bother to call reception so I had to walk all the way frim the ebtrance to my villa. The staff at the reception are all smiles but never felt they were genuine. The cleaning ladies, the waiters, the tractor driver, and the gardener are behind the good image of this hotel and the nice memories I have from my stay.

Leider entspricht die tatsächliche Qualität des Hotels nicht dem angegebenen 5-Sterne-Standard und den Beschreibungen auf Ihrer Plattform. Während unseres Aufenthalts haben wir mehrere erhebliche Mängel festgestellt, die unseren Urlaub deutlich beeinträchtigt haben: Das Essen war von minderer Qualität, kaum abwechslungsreich und oft kalt. Es gab lange Schlangen in den Restaurants, da zu wenig Personal vorhanden war. Mehrere gastronomische Einrichtungen und Servicebereiche waren geschlossen oder nicht funktionsfähig. Der allgemeine Zustand des Hotels entspricht keinesfalls einem 5-Sterne-Niveau (Sauberkeit, Ausstattung, Servicequalität).
