Wyndham Newport Hotel

Wyndham Newport Hotel

8/10 Good
"I recently had a 3 night stay. The hotel was clean and neat. The staff were very friendly. The food and service at the restaurant were excellent. The trolley service to and from Newport was a god send, drivers Gene and Mike where very knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations for places to eat and see. The only cons were; there was no safe in the room, so when I went to the pool in the afternoon I had to take my purse with me. The lack of dresser draws was inconvenient and the general lack of privacy in the bathroom with the barn doors that don’t lock. The lack of a shower curtain had the bathroom floor getting all wet which is a safety issue. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again myself."

"Pool was awesome. Hotel was clean and new. Staff was accommodating. Only down side was our room had 2 queen beds , and honestly they felt more like fulls. "Beautiful property in a great location. The only negative was the bathroom sink was so small and a shelf placed above it so you could not brush your teeth or wash your face without soaking the floor. Was a bit frustating."
