Rockwater Secret Cove Resort

10/10 Excellent

"The room was very clean and we enjoyed the pool and kayaking. However given how rainy the climate is and how often the pool is usable during the whole year, we would have preferred to have a hot tub. Otherwise the resort is one of a kind, we were amazed by the view and how incredible the staff was."

"The room is newly renovated. It is clean and big enough for three people. The hand soap and body wash smell very good. It is an expensive brand! The location is very nice. We can walk to the beach, cafe, restaurants and grocery. However, there is not enough furniture in the room. There is no wardrobe for hanging the clothes. There is also no armchair and sofa. We can only sit on the bed. Also, it will be more friendly if there is a water machine."

"Our room was clean and we were allowed in 10 minutes early. We had the queen with a sofa bed as we are 2 friends visiting Gibsons, and did not want to share a bed. The sofa bed was like most sofa beds. Just ok. The room overlooked the market & marina and also a nice view to the North. Great to have the fridge & coffee maker. However, there is no housekeeping, unless you ask for it. We are not messy women, but we did want coffee for the next morning. And I am glad I hung up the towels instead of expecting them to be exchanged. It looks like they are in the process of updating - there was the remains of a metal frame around the tub. All in all, I would stay there again. I wish that there was a in-room list of what to expect re housekeeping ‘cause it’s really not a problem, as long as you know their routine. Quiet and easy to park, and you can walk to any location in lower Gibsons easily."
