「A very historic old hotel with an excellent location and a 3-minute walk to the attractions you are interested in. Strangely, the parking lot downstairs is not the hamilton hotel, but its sister hotel. So drivers have to go to the paid parking lot behind the hotel. It's a little inconvenient.」

「We only spent one night at the White Lion, but had a very enjoyable stay. The room was spacious, clean and well looked after. The bathroom was modern with everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was very tasty with quite a few choices, we also had dinner, which was just as good. It is in a quite location, which was just what we wanted. 」

「This is a very well renovated B&B with nice amenities like a smart TV, kettle for tea and coffee, and a super comfortable bed. The entrance to the hotel and rooms is controlled by an electronic code. There is a modest continental breakfast on offer with the option for boiled eggs and a sausage or bacon sandwich. The waterfront is a short walk away and the historic dockyards are about a 20-minute walk. The room was quiet and had a chiller fan. You could also open the windows for fresh air. We...

「The location of the house was a short walk from the train station. The neighbourhood felt safe and clean. The house itself was well looked after and clean. Directions to find the house and get in were easy to follow. My room was spacious, airy and the bed was very comfortable. Great value for money, I would stay again! 」

「Pam and Lorna are great hosts . The breakfast was amazing and the room spotless. Add to that 15 minutes walk to an awesome sandy beach it’s probably the ideal place to stay . We will be coming back , with the dog next time !」

「We have stayed here before and it's a great B&B in a great location for us to visit friends.」

「We tried this hotel for the first time as a stop over for the ferry to IOW and we will definitely be staying there again. We had a very pleasant & informative introduction to the owners. The room was superb and one of the most comfortable bed I have slept in. After a really good nights sleep got up to a great breakfast.」

「The whole building was unique. unusual but very comfortable. We could have done with another chair in the Room.....but other than that fine. 'Mine host ' was very friendly and helpful. We had a bit of banter.」
