The room is small but it was exactly what we needed for our weekend - it was close to downtown, close to lots of things to do and felt safe. We loved being able to check in remotely with the codes. Would definitely book again!

I liked the convenience of this property Close to the Capital hill A line station.Very Clean,easy check-in, the only 2 things I wish were available while staying there was an ice machine and small notepad and pen those were the only things I wish I had and didn't.I will say this place was very clean,soft towels and great bed and bedding.I would definitely stay here again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Everything about the Sonder was terrible. The check in process is a nightmare. The room had not been cleaned so we were asked to leave (after being checked in) until later that evening. ZERO customer service. After many phone calls when you reach someone they don't speak English. Check in process asks for personal information that should not be needed for a prepaid hotel. If I could give zero stars I would. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The room was small and dirty on top of the nightmare of how it is run. YUCK.. TERRIBLE. AWFUL.

Sonder at Boylston is very good, but visitors need to be aware that: -there's no elevator so good luck if you have a heavy bag to carry and room on the 5 floor - there's no reception desk or any humans who you can approach in case of a problem. You can conduct an online conversation with their app though - the bathrooms walls are transparent

Very, very expensive for what you get. I lived next door to this place for year. I wonder how many guests realize they’re paying so much to stay in a place that was full of sex offenders and addicts? The most down and out and kind off gross people called this building home. They had tiny studio apartments with shared bathrooms. Now, You’re paying so much to sleep in the same tiny box, but with a shower weirdly placed in the corner. It was cool that I could help myself to extra basics at convenient cupboards in the hallway. Also, this place has location, location, location. But that also means no parking.

The building and lounge area were nice. The odd thing we found was the design of the room. A room just with a toilet, the shower is out in the bedroom and the sink also separately. There is enough space to have all the bathroom items in one room inside of the bedroom… The room didn’t feel quite right.

Small comfortable small convenient small clean.
Ok here's where it plays out. I was on a 7 day business trip. So I had a suitcase with a weeks worth of clothes plus jackets for being in Seattle in November. Problem is there was no where to fit my clothes. There isn't even a part just a hook in the wall. The rooms are tiny. Barely room around the bed to walk. Shower is right there in corner of room next to bed. Way to small for what I was doing. BUT I am sure younger travelers on a shorter stay find it perfect. The world is getting more minimalistic but when it comes to traveling I like space to stretch and store my stuff. I did give decent ratings for the place but just not a place for me again.

Great for solo traveler. Good location. Offer free water and espresso machine in the room. Only few downsides. 1. No elevator but they offer help carrying during office hour. 2. No chair for work while in the room. 3. Outside noise could bother while sleeping but they offer earplugs and white noise machine. 4. Wifi indicator blue light is too bright for dark room sleeper.

The rooms were clean and nice. My room was the first one in the building which was convenient, but was very noisy. The doors slam shut in the building and people come in at all times during the night. There were a lot of noises outside from the trash and delivery trucks. The other issue was since it is a non-smoking hotel, people will smoke right outside the front door. I could smell it inside, especially the weed smell.

Great location, must have good knees
Fantastic location, coffee shops/cafes/vintage, easy access entry etc BUT we had no idea we were on 6th floor and no elevator. Entry is on second floor (street level) and thankfully we are able bodied and fit, but we were in and out a fair bit with shopping etc so the stairs were inconvenient. On arrival a lovely lady took our luggage up the service elevator, but in departure we waited 15 minutes whilst sending messages and no one came although apparently on the way, we had a ride coming so gave up and hauled a massive case 2 carry ons a big heavy duffel and our backpacks down the four flights…not easy and quite the workout. Maybe we should have arranged the day before but it seemed that someone was onsite and available at all times but maybe that’s not the case. We also had issues with the tv, it took forever to work first night and second night I gave up, I did send them a message but their reply didn’t help and didn’t make sense, tv is a minor thing but still irritating. Overall great little place, clean, small but comfy, bed was comfy, ac unit worked well and a small fridge and coffee machine (we didn’t use either) There’s also a small lounge for all downstairs with books and each floor has a water station. For a place to crash that feels safe and bright it’s great, I took off a star for not mentioning the fact there’s no elevator and tv. Would consider staying again for location if I had just a carry on (we were moving my kid to uni so had all her stuff in the cases)

Great location, restaurants and coffee shops everywhere. Tiniest room ever. Painful online checkin process. Very clean. If you are set on staying in Capitol Hill and don’t mind a tiny room, I’d recommend it.

It would be really great if they was even one small chair to sit on in the room. There was only the bed, which was not comfortable as there was no back support when sitting on it. Neighborhood was quite run down with alot of graffiti everywhere.

It's obviously just a converted apartment building chopped up into awkward rooms. The shower is out in the room, first thing you see when you walk in the door. You look at the sink from the bed. When you go to the bathroom, you cross the room to wash your hands. It adds up feeling like it's just a bathroom with a bed in it. Beyond the awkward layout, the bed was uncomfortable (very hard). We slept very poorly. Also, the shower door didn't run on any kind of lower track, so water leaked out from under the door into the floor. That's really annoying when the shower is out in the living room. The air conditioning was nice to have and the building felt reasonably secure. The location is excellent and very walkable to food, bars and public transit. I would stay somewhere else.

Nobody told me that my 6th level room did not have elevator access. I was assured that I could be on a lower floor for the weekend, but there was no follow-through. Nor did the tv work. I will never stay here again.

The room 107 was small. Think more European size. The service and Team were excellent. My shower door was jammed and they fixed it in 2 hrs. However very few places to stay in Capitol Hill. We will stay at this property again, although may choose a bigger room.

We loved staying at the Sonder the Boylston, it was a beautiful hotel! The room was awesome, very clean, & beautifully designed. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent. Everything about this hotel was awesome! The location of this hotel is AWESOME, almost everything is within walking distance. We walked to the Amazon Spheres, walking to the Monorail at Westlake Center is quick and easy. The lounge was cute, they even had little lockers to keep extra luggage if needed. I loved this hotel & I will forsure be trying to stay with the Sonder company anywhere else I go from now on. I just feel like Sonder does it better. My partner strongly agrees that Sonder is amazing, I highly recommend staying here! LOVED it, thank you! My only complaints are there is NO elevator, which honestly didn’t even bother us. We had 3 big bags & 2 paddle boards so it was even more work to carry it up to the 5th floor, but honestly didn’t bother us at all. Some people might not like the no elevator situation so thought I would mention that just in case. My real complaint is not even apart of the hotel, it’s just the Parking situation is kind of annoying/awkward. They recommend street parking or the 1609 Harvard Ave parking garage. It’s not Sonders fault, but this garage just seems very very sketchy to me. Our entire trip we were very concerned for our car. It’s around the corner from the hotel as well. Kind of makes it’s awkward for loading/unloading. Other than that, we loved it very much!!
