DO NOT STAY HERE

Stayed 2 nights, Wednesday and Thursday 6/16-6/17 2021. The room was dirty, sticky floors, weird smell, air conditioner filter was filthy and looked like it was never cleaned, bathroom was disgusting with mold in the sliding shower door channel, shower/tub walls had soap/shampoo residue from previous occupants along with grime, mirror looked like it was wiped with a dirty cloth, filthy microwave, filthy refrigerator with mold, metal clothes rack had buildup of dirt and hair. Bed was hard as a rock pillows were cheap. Thank God the linens were clean (the ONLY good thing I have to say) Thursday a group of young guys rented the room next door playing loud music, smoking pot- the smell came through our bathroom vent fan which we kept on to try to drown the noise . live in manager heard/seen everything- did NOTHING. WOULD NOT STAY AGAIN IF IT WAS FREE. Upon checkout talked to other guests who said their hotel rooms were all FILTHY as well. Manager said he would have given us another room if we would have let him know- told us maids are hard to come by and the only ones who want to work are on drugs Apparently other room would have been just as bad. Hotel needs total renovation new management and maid service location is fantastic too bad the hotel isn’t FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO STAY was also told by other guests the Coral Sands is affiliated with this hotel they booked a room at Coral Sands but had to stay here instead

For a seaside motel it wasn’t bad. Was probably cleaner than most. We asked for new sheets for the pull out sofa bed because those didn’t look clean but everything else was fine. Service was really good and they us park more than one car for a small fee and leave them for a little while after check out until the next guests arrived. You get what you pay for and for a holiday weekend in an area where most motels are crap, it was fine for us for a night. Cleaner than expected I would say. The pool was nice. If you’re staying with kids I would recommend getting an air bnb over any seaside motel though but for a night of the boardwalk or drinking for a few friends in there 20s I think it’s probably the best you’ll get there.

Disgusting!! This place should be condemed! The room was disgusting and had serious mold mildew and other health and safety violations. A formal complaint was lodged with the City Building Inspector. Not worth $100 per night! I would let my puppy spend a night here!

Worst experience I have ever had.

There was no housekeeping. Hotel mgmt entered the room with a key to rent the room to someone else. My 11 yr old granddaughter was in the room alone and was very upset and scared. Hotel management was sitting on the steps out side that evening talking about other employees the language was unbelievable I have never heard anything like that coming out of a truck driver let alone a woman. Checked out the next morning a day early and asked for a refund for that day. Manager said she had to call owner and would call me back with in an hour. Needless to say I have never heard from them. Very low class!!!

Paid for an apartment style room but was given a regular room at check in. Showed the picture of what we paid for and was told that the hotel has no room that looks like that! Felt deceived and the woman was very nasty. Finally got her to give us a room with a living room. She tried to say the cost was the same but it was not / we paid more for the apartment style room than a regular one. Felt like we were being conned.

Do not book this hotel after 10pm!!!!! We used the website to book this hotel and got there to check in and no one was at the office and no one answered the phone number that was left on the door. Had to call hotels.com and have them help me relocate. The entire process took over an hour and a half going well into the middle of the night. Stay away from the Belmont hotel if you are booking at night.

Booked this motel for a 4 night stay through hotels.com without looking at reviews. I looked at reviews afterwards and saw many negative reviews so I had some serious concerns. Upon arrival we found a simple motel which was expected but room was very dated and not very clean. After the first night we met two staff members Lee and Myrtle who did a great job of cleaning our room and making us more comfortable. All other staff was basically MIA during our stay, motel somewhat run down and in need of a lot of TLC. The only consolation was Lee and Myrtle who through they attention, courtesy and hospitality made our stay a pleasant one. Motel get 2 stars Lee and Myrtle get 5 stars for me.

Arrived at 2 to check in. Office locked. Called numbers listed. No answer. Left. Returned at three. Office locked. Called numbers listed again. On 4th try got a man who sounded surprised we wanted to check in. Sent a woman from neighbouring hotel over. She unlocked door but could not get into computer. We left and stayed somewhere else. Never saw a room. Remove this hotel from Expedia is my suggestion. Ratings are poor.

I have been going to this hotel for the past 3years,and it has changed dramatically,sands on sheets, floor dirty , requested service with no response or apology from the mangers. Poorly manage.Definitely not going there next year

I took my 2 yr old here with my best friend for a short beach trip, only I was highly disappointed in the room! There were no shades on the lights, just exposed light bulbs hanging from the cords, the shades werected broke, the shower doors wouldn't slide open rather had to use muscle to lift them across, the toilet was broke and kept running all day and night and had to constantly jiggle the handle, and worst part was our door was broke and the key had to be taken everywhere to get back in (so no sitting out on the chairs without leaving the door wide open or your key in hand) drawers broke on the dressers, and the pictures on the wall both had cracks in them! If it was just myself and my friend I could overlook these, but with my 2 yr old aon, absolutely not! For the price it was awful!

Nice for a quick weekend getaway to the shore

Typical little no frills Jersey shore hotel. The pool area was very nice and clean. The rooms were clean (although the bathroom was TINY TINY TINY) Two double beds were clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Manger at the front desk was very pleasant. One block away from boardwalk and beach. Free beach passes was a surprise bonus. Plenty of parking in the lot (also free parking) Overall it was a really nice weekend trip. I'd definitely stay there again.

It's a place to sleep.

The title says it all. The beds were very uncomfortable and still had the plastic on them and the pillows were very thin. I certainly wouldn't stay here for more than a night or two if you want to have an enjoyable vacation.
