"A lovely terraced house in a fantastic location close to the town centre, very clean and tidy with every facility we could have needed. Parking at the rear for one vehicle was good, plus a parking ticket to allow the use of any local car park too. Loved staying there and will be be back in 2027"

"A wonderful 2 night stay in the cottage tucked away but really close to the excellent butchers and bakers, for takeaway breakfasts and a few mins walk to wonderful pubs and restaurants and cliff walks. Walked to Bamburgh along the beach and back. Great to have off street parking, a little garden,and lovely kitchen and bathroom. Our host was brilliant and very helpful and responsive and I would definitely recommend a stay. "

"The property was ideally situated just a short walk from the shops and town centre. It was small but comfortable with everything needed for your stay. Even although the weather was cold at night, once the fire was on for a short time, the place became very cosy. The only issue would be parking near the property. I found a space in the nearby street. This was fine as it was still close. Being early in the season this might have been easy but perhaps during peak times it might be more tricky."

"The location is great and the parking facility a bonus (once the narrow entrance is negotiated). Very comfortable seating and bed with good quality linen and furnishings. The kitchen is well equipped, you can bake a cake but there is no grill rack to use in the grill pan if you want bacon or chops etc. There is no mention of several external steps to get in to this particular cottage (the others just a doorstep) or the fact that it is off a uneven cobbled courtyard, both unsuitable for the less mobile."
