Perfect when traveling through town

Nice hotel, the breakfast is really good but you should enjoy your dinner elsewhere.

The hotel is a good walkable location for accessing the town center and Schloss. Staff and check in were excellent. The rooms were spacious, modern, well decorated, and clean. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable. The parking garage was inexpensive and there was plenty of spaces. That is the good. It was a hot June weekend and a key criteria for choosing a hotel was an AC cooled room. Outside during the day, it was 32 centigrade. The room at check in was close to 30. When we returned in the evening the outside temperature was 24 centigrade. The room was still close to 30. We turned on the AC, all it did was blow warm air. Front desk was not able to assist. We were forced to sleep in a hot room that never cooled over the course of the night. Cooling should be based on room temperature and occupancy, not outside temperature.

Amazing staff, very comfy room with aircon (great as it was v hot when we visited). Decent breakfast. However, the location of this hotel really is a distance away from the places you’re likely to want to go as a tourist, especially the schloss and old town. I walked in in the first evening and it took me 25 mins (admittedly I have short legs and it was hot!). The amazing staff were great at providing us with bus times, but there were only 2 per hour and it took 20 mins as went round the outskirts of town to get in. We started using E-scooters, great for adults as the cycle lanes are excellent, but no good for our teen as you need to be 18. So, great hotel but think carefully about the location - if you want to pop back in the day, that’s not so easy.

Die Zimmer waren sehr schön elngerichtet und auch die Betten sehr bequem. Man hat ein Parkhaus, wo man direkt parken kann, allerdings gehört das nicht zum Hotel und man kann nur in bar bezahlen. Daher hatte ich einige Diskussionen, weil weder das Hotel, noch das Parkhauspersonal helfen konnten. Der nächste Geldautomat war in der Innenstadt. Eine Info vorab wäre sinnvoll. Ansonsten natürlich auch citynah gelegen.

Das Zimmer war groß und das Bett äußerst bequem. Leider war das Duschwasser nur lauwarm und nicht richtig heiß. Die Schalldämmung des Zimmers ließ zu wünschen übrig – ich habe sehr gut geschlafen, aber meine Frau wurde mehrmals in der Nacht durch Autolärm und Sirenen geweckt. Das Frühstück war spektakulär: reichhaltig und von außergewöhnlich guter Qualität – absolut empfehlenswert! Insgesamt eine sehr gute Erfahrung, ich würde definitiv wiederkommen… in der Hoffnung, dass an einer besseren Schallisolierung gearbeitet wird. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut! Die Entfernung zum Schloss Schwerin beträgt zu Fuß etwa 20–25 Minuten. Leider gibt es keinen kostenlosen Parkplatz direkt am Hotel – nur kostenpflichtig und auf Anfrage.

Leider zu laut und für mich zu weiche Betten

Ich konnte leider in beiden Nächten nicht gut schlafen. Die Fenster sind zwar gut schallisoliert, aber bei offenem Fenster steht man senkrecht im Bett, wenn draußen der Zug vorbeifährt. Das Frühstück war leider auch so lala, viel Auswahl aber keine gute Qualität.

Schönes Hotel mit gut ausgestatteten Zimmern und in der Nähe des Schlosses gelegen. Diese waren zudem erfreulich leise. Leider war jedoch die Zimmerreinigung schlecht. Die Zahnputzbecher waren in allen drei gebuchten Zimmern nicht gereinigt worden. Wollmäuse lagen auch nach der Reinigung noch an der selben Stelle und leere Toilettenrollen wurden nicht ersetzt.
